I guess if one is going to try to "Compartmentalize" Judaism in our time..one would come up with an article like this..and still be wrong in saying:

Israeli's are this...

Historically..nearly every nation with some antiquity to it..has become corrupted by its neighbours..or the dominant power bloc of said era.
By the time of Cleopatra of Egypt..the ancient tounge was fading away..the script..the understanding of the past.
Assyria,..the Medo Persians...the Arrayians...eventually the tents folded up..the cultures vanished away in the sands of time....except one group....the Jews.

A continual thread runs through Israels historic narrative...she was never to become..like other nations.
Those who stayed faithfull to Torah..the Law..saved Israel..in each era.
Israel has bounced from one confused reality to another...her national trail...trying to understand her identity.
Yet...she has allways known her identity..she simply rebels at it.
All we are seeing at present..is the melting pot of the remants that returned..bringing with themselves "Socialism"..for that was the foundation of Europe and the Salvic lands.
The world understands Israel is to be different..set apart, this is a spiritual dynamic.
G_d has told them for thousands of years.."You shall not find rest with them..[The world]..only with me."
They[the world]..will never accept you...your relationship with them..can only meet in rejection....

Sounds infantile...fatallistic...,but its absolutely true.

Israels wirlwind effort to do the "Social thing in action"...some call that Liberalism....
In the end...its a sign of their refusal to do things they way they know..and have known..but rebell at..
So they put the max effort in..and recieve...
Rejection..and continual trouble...for the application of thought...is foreign to the true Psychy of the nations identity.
In the end..."The holy seed"...it survives...grows back up to be a tree every time.
You could cut Israel back to a stump continually..and you will allways get the same tree growing back..just strange fruit on its limbs...
G_d talks alot about "Strange Fruit".... With Israels confusion..comes the resulting refining Fires.....G_d simply burns the crap away..and if need be..it goes down to the root..and start again.
Israels deepest cry is for Mashiach to come[Messiah]..set them free from the cycle.
So Israel is trying "Socialism"..it will fail...gauranteed, something else will arrise no doubt...but the root will remain.

Someone watches over that..with a passionate interest.
