I like exploding, shrapnel-producing mailboxes out in the sticks myself...

I was waiting for that! :)
BTW, say goodbye to Solich and Bohl for all of us...

Check out the company's web site... The owner has self-published his autobiography. A great read!

A Lincoln man died Sunday afternoon after being injured about 12 hours earlier when a fragment of a golf club a friend was swinging to knock over mailboxes struck him in the side of his head, police said.
A Sunday in Nebraska.

Police do not know where the men were driving when the club fragment struck Brinker.
Maybe they were just chipping onto a green...

Consider what happens to concrete and steel when liquid nitrogen (or worse, liquid oxygen) is applied in profuse quantities...of course, only careful vandals need apply. Ever see that guy on the internet who starts charcoal grilles with LOX?
The grille's steel burns, making a sad little puddle of slag..

That's why it is called mailbox BASEBALL not mailbox GOLF.

Brian Brinker, Who was killed in this accident was a very smart person, an amazing musician, and a great friend to many.
Before judging him you should read the article.
The victim was not the one who swung the club.
Thanks

Reminds me of my dad. During the gas crisis of the 70s, his trucks kept getting drained of gas. After patrolling the shop a few nights, he caught a couple of hippies and ran them off with a shotgun.
Unfortunately for them, they got so scared that they left thier pickup at the scene. When they arrived the next morning, the truck was jacked up on an old burning pit and the local news was photographing the strange monument. Dad never admitted to putting the truck up there, but he did charge the guys $50 to get it down. He never had anyone steal gas after that incident...

I did read the article.
I'll admit it was a tragic accident, but if he really was that smart, he wouldn't have been involved in the first place. He should have gotten out of the car and walked home when he realized what his "friends" were doing.
I'm not judging the person, just his actions.
