Your bringing up South Africans is an interesting point.
With all of the persecution the Afrikaner-Boer farmers
are facing from the Marxist ANC with over 1,000 farmers
there murdered by unknown sources (most likely from ANC-
supporters), the United States should work to bring any
farmer from South Africa who wishes to migrate here to
help the U.S. prosper, instead of allowing diseased
illegals from South of the Border infesting our land.

Nothing new here folks. With the rare exceptions like Tom Tancredo, our elected officials (from both sides) are selling this country out as fast as they can. Most of the problems with illegal immigration in general - and the INS in particular - is the result of these elected officials (and their flunkies in INS management) working behind the scenes to keep the laws from being enforced effectively. That, combined with things like the Diversity Visa (Lottery), this (low)Life Act, and so many other boondoggles, has provided this country with the nightmare that the American public is only now finding out about. Combine that with situations like the Malva fiasco (definintely nothing new there) and you have a sure recipe for disaster.

67 posts and another FReeper says "Close the borders". While our troops risk their lives attacking Iraq Iraqi-Saudi-Taliban terrorists are rendezvousing and setting up for "Operation Border Bust". I'm not very pleased to even think it but I predict that within 24 hours of our first major assault on Iraq there will be a response within our borders. I hope I'm wrong.

#62 - good point. The few thousand who seriously need to leave there can't, but as many Mexicans come across the border every day without the Bush administration lifting a finger.

First of all, self-employed people are required to pay their taxes on a quarterly basis. And second, if you are significantly under-withheld, the feds can assess a penalty.

I wonder if Bush would do anything about the illegals he wants to amnesty never having paid their income taxes.

I told her to vacation in Mexico and then cross the border as tourists.

I knew a guy from Hong Kong who overstayed a student visa and was working in the US, he would do exactly that ---only he didn't cross as a tourist. When he wanted to go home for a visit, he'd go to Mexico to fly home and back and then cross the border over the bridge because he didn't have to worry about being stopped. His English was good enough, he'd just say he was American --like so many Mexicans do and that was all.

I jumped for joy when I found this article in my inbox from Laura Ingraham. I knew that she's a freeper darling, after speaking at Friva Las Vegas and figured there wouldn't be many showing up to knock her words. I'm hoping her words have made a diference to those who continue to bash those of us who do see a threat from our unsecured borders. And I agree and am fearful that if we start bombing Iraq there will be a greater need to secure our country. I'm also worried about the safety of the brave volunteers down there.

Laura Ingraham is great. She really shines on TV in debate. Her grasp of facts and ability to bring them together in a cohesive and incisive comeback is dynamite. She has a way of leaving her opponent climbing out of a very deep hole of their own making.

I agree and am fearful that if we start bombing Iraq there will be a greater need to secure our country. I'm also worried about the safety of the brave volunteers down there.

Amen to that. All my thoughts and hopes for their success and well being go with them. I won't give an inch on our stand with Iraq based on the fact that we might get bitten here, but I do worry that it will happen. I fear it's a little late to tighten up security in regards to that. We're going to have to learn the hard way.

She is dynamite alright. I used to watch her on IMUS, then on her own hour show following IMUS. She's got a great one-two punch and a confident smile. She is tops.

Looks like she has made her point here :). Thanks Laura!
