Please explain exactly what happened with this election. Was it close?, did the dems scream for a re-count, as 'every vote did not count'? Did the good folks of La. wake up to the fact that the democratic party is no longer the same as in the Kennedy era? The state is very catholic and used to vote democrat for the pro life/ morals issue-did they wake-up?

I have not been aware of the facts of the La. situation... obviously from my last post. I really have no clue as to what happened. When will this election be final, in La.?

The issue should be simple. The judicial nominee should have a good grasp of the English language and be willing to enforce what a reasonable person would read. All Senators take an oath to uphold the Constitution. There should be no choice as to the party or political persuasion of the potential judge.

The President's approval ratings must not be quite high enough for the dems. LOL.

Thanks for the heads up!

Wade Henderson, executive director of the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights, said:
"Senators who voted to confirm Dennis Shedd and Michael McConnell sent a clear signal to women, racial minorities, workers and consumers across America that their voices will not be heard."
Or:
"Senators who voted to confirm Dennis Shedd and Michael McConnell sent a clear signal to decent, hard-working, traditional families across America that their voices have been heard."

The issue should be simpleIt should be simple, but to the scumbags, it is not. The Democrats need activist judges who will impose taxes from the bench, who will push a socialist agenda from the bench, and who will destroy the traditional American family unit from the bench. This is how Democrats derive the political power they lust for, and everybody else be damned. It's simple.

You summed it up quite well!

I watched on C-Span and saw how the dems are accusing Shedd of outlandish things. They dems look like the lying fools they are.
