...for one thing he isn't very appealing before the camera..he's homely and has a dull personality.

Not to mention that pole he's got stuck up his butt! It was hilarious this morning to see him whinning to Stephanine on this week Needs David Brinkley about how the President didn't even support the Kyoto Accords. I say bring Kerry on...he'll be dogfood by October 2004.

(5) Has he always been successful in fighting off those female advances? Rumors are he may have submitted to temptation from time to time. Could he have a "Gary Hart" problem in his future?

If the long national nightmare known as the Clinton presidency has taught us nothing else it's taught us that this is no longer a problem.

Of course, what the heck would a dem have to smile about? All they represent is doom/gloom.

Really...what do they have to smile about? They live in a country they hate that's populated by people too stupid to admire them. Must be a truly miserable existence.

I listened to Kerry lie repeatedly on ABC's BS show this morning. He has the fascist dogma down pat. He is into power.

Today I heard Vermont Governor Dean give a speech at the annual convention of the American Public Health Association. He's running, hard, for the '04 Dem nomination. He was trying out some slogans ("We can do better.") In general, I'd say he gives a decent speech and will be a force to be reckoned with among the Dem candidates. He's running as an outsider (ala Clinton and Dubya), against the Washington establishment - both Republican and Democrat. He's also running as a "fiscal conservative" who cut taxes and balanced the budget in Vermont while providing health coverage for more residents than any other state. Didn't know much about him before today, but I think he'll last.

BTW, also heard Surgeon General Richard Carmoza speak. In front of a hostile crowd, he gave an amazing speech about his upbringing (Harlem rascal makes good in Army, becomes medic and later trauma surgeon). Quite a contrast to the strident, partisan liberal speakers. I recommend we learn about him, and support him. He's going to have to do his work (like me!) in a field almost entirely dominated by liberals.

Get a grip here, incredibaly smart. BFD, what you are saying is that he has the gift of gab and has pushed some hot buttons. It remains to be seen how smart"smart" this pretender is. I think he will fade to dark grey and be gone

At this point in time there ain't no part of the field called leftmiddle. You are either here or there (upcoming from Der Fureress pelosi. They are doing this to gather their base and suck votes away from the greens which cost them dearly in 2000. Watch, the Senate Dem's will be rabid in their defense or attack of the cause du jour; the candidate they put up will be the voice of reason, bipartisonship, commen sense. No matter what keep your eyes on that bitch in New York. Yon stands Hillary with a lean (poetic liscense) and hungry (you have to agree) look!!!!

Guess he forgot that the Senate voted 95-0 against signing Kyoto in a resolution introduced by Democrat R. Byrd no less.
Guess Kerry also forgot he joined the rest of them in voting against Kyoto at the time.
What a two-faced phoney.

Well I can assure you that Kerry's wife would think it was a _big_ problem. He is _her_ gigolo, and with all her money she dosen't have to put with any guff. Hillary, on the other hand, needed Bill to turn her into Presidential timber.

If Kerry dosen't watch his Ps and Qs he could be slain by the Heinz Dragon as she dumps him publicly and finds another gigolo who is more obedient. If the press continued to suck up to Kerry after he got caught she would just buy a few newspapers and TV stations and would turn the campaign trail into a free fire zone. ;-)

Kerry's a soft talker, but he's not a "likeable" man. I think voters who aren't paying much attention to politics will be turned off by him simply because he's not "likeable."

Exactly right! I saw him on Sunday morning tv, and he came across as ANGRY, MEAN, and WITH NO SENSE OF HUMOR. I don't know why women would prefer him over W.

Mr. Kerry was in Washington state yesterday in Tacoma and Seattle visiting veterans. He is trying to get the vet vote for his presidental run in 04. I watched him on local TV critizising President Bush for not signing Concurrent Receipt, S170. They interviewed a couple of vets and of course they sided with Mr. Kerry. Apparently these vets only care for one issue.
