Who knows, but I know one thing. The more I read this post, the more this kangas guy seemed to be right on target. Look at this:
"I have long thought that our Democratic leaders have lost touch with the grass roots. How else do you explain Democratic support for NAFTA, the Bankruptcy Reform Bill, the welfare program reductions, the increased use of the death penalty, tax reductions for the wealthy, and the Democratic failure to pass meaningful living wage legislation and the failure to provide for national health care."
Is this not exactly what every prominent Democrat leader is currently saying, "back to the roots." I am still utterly amazed how a democrat website could have banned someone for voicing what is now obviously mainstream democrat doctrine.

Ping! Don't feel like the Lone Ranger. They have thrown better folks than you and I outta there. parsy whose bottom is sore from being bounced out of DU so often.

What vested interest do we Democrats have in a program that doesn't work? None. Wrong. It's called power, money, and patronage, through the perpetual dependence and suffering of a sufficient number of people. The "lib" who wrote that line has the key in the lock, he just needs the guts to turn the knob and look into the ugly and morally corrupt world that the Democrat party has become. Many others have done it and perhaps the bitch slapping he took from the poverty pimps for his minor deviation from the party line will inspire him to take a closer look.

I didn't say that, the article did. You need to be careful about who you appear to quote. If you are quoting the article make sure you say that, or reply to post #1.

Is that some new directive from Jim that I missed? I was agreeing and elaborating on the same quote that you commented on. It should have been perfectly clear to you when I wrote... "The "lib" who wrote that line.......
Sorry to mess up your day. It won't let it happen again.

What a BLOCKBUSTER is Ann Coulter......
The girls got her eggs together, who can deny it.
Surely she makes some mistake somewhere but I have yet to find it. A Rush Limbaugh type show would be a good bet. Many liberals would accept her better than Rush for after all he is a white American male, what does he know some woulds say. Set that aside. Bottom line is this girl has definitly got her figments bolted together.
** Ann Coulter and Alan Keyes are American treasures.

How true. But the sad part for the dems is that she has given them a better analysis of their problems than their own internal people have. But they can't get past their hate to listen to her. parsy who has a highly developed sense of irony.

We Democrats, and particularly we Liberal Democrats, are far too busy name-calling and acting like elite self-righteous snobs, to dirty our hands with the problems of the working class. I do not say this lightly and am reluctant to say it at all for fear that it will end up on some right-wing moron website.Bolded for y'all's amusement :o)

"Are you aware of the fact that blacks and whites had about the same (low) percentage of children out of wedlock before Lyndon Johnson foisted on America the monstrosity of the Great Society? "
Yes. I think it was about 20% for blacks, 6% for whites. Now it is triple or more that rate. I still think Headstart is a good idea, but it can not accomplish much in face of other programs' failings. parsy.

I noticed that at the time. I was also tickled by kangas's obvious dislike of Ann Coulter, even AFTER he had read her book and was in agreement with her on a lot of stuff. I found that surprising. If she was right in her analysis, why all the animosity? parsy.

I remember a revival-tent preacher who'd had more than his share of branch in his branch water before putting on his show.
He quoted John 3:16. "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
He then looked at all of us, and said, "But, folks, I gotta tell you this...before it makes you free, it's gonna p*ss you off!"

Thats absolutely hilarious! I am going to write that down and use it. parsy.
PS: I have to share this---They actually have a thread reply at DU that mentions me by name!!!!! I am so happy!!!!
But they do not know who all I am over there. And to think mrs.parsifal fusses because I pay for a second separate special ISP on my "war-room" computer.

Hey guys! I found myself honored over at DU today. Here is the cut and paste:
"Whenever they're over on this side of the tracks. At least, so they typically claim whenever it comes up over there. There's one in particular who's apparently had two DU screennames with over 3,000 posts on one and over 1,500 on the other. His FR name is Parsifal & he claimed that he's a vocal "Green" over here at DU. Moreover, I can add that at least a couple are paying 'star' DU members because they were reporting on the goings on here at DU when the forum was restricted only to members those couple days after Election Day. I dunno, though, perhaps they're actually disruptors at FR rather than DU - hard to really tell with the nature of the medium... Not to feed the at-times irrational paranoia around here, but just reporting on what I've seen over on FR. I don't have any solutions really and for that matter I know that not-too-few at DU have thought me a plant over this past year I've been around simply because I don't march in orthodox lockstep with the most radical elements. Some think that being loud equals being right."
FWIW, The worst thing I could ever do to them is make them think. But heck, I got the right. I am a democrat after all. Oh, this just made my day! Little do they know. . .parsy the sneaky.
To: parsifal
Parsy, you're just having way too much fun over there. By the way, have you seen this one?
Jeepers, Creepers, Where'd We Get Them Freepers?!
They really do fancy themselves some kind of higher life form. Wonder how they reconcile that with the fact that most intelligent Americans reject them and they know they have to lie about what they really believe if they're going to win elections.
To: parsifal
A DUfus bleats:
I can add that at least a couple are paying 'star' DU members because they were reporting on the goings on here at DU when the forum was restricted only to members those couple days after Election Day. Well, not exactly. That particular individual is under the mistaken impression that it took more then two minutes to blow through that pathetic attempt at "restriction." Several DU posters only reached their site by lurking at FR and linking through on those particular days, which I for one find very amusing. Their technical expertise is on a par with their politics - third-rate. JimRob shoulda charged 'em rent...but then the checks would probably bounce...
To: parsifal
I would worry, but Rush says this everyday to millions and the Dims haven't gotten it yet. They are too stupid to get it, that's why they think socialism actually works.
To: sweetliberty
Kewl link! I like the Klee painting. Surprised a Du'er knows that much about art. But, the "buzzing" of flies??? I'll show them some buzzing. . .parsy the devious.
