Right. And we're supposed to believe that it was just coincidence that in that County the machine ignored straight party tickets? County after county is reporting "problems" with computer programs. What gives?

The problems with electronic voting we're hearing about are only the problems which were "caught." Wonder how many problems were not caught?

Electronic voting is going to bring us President Hillary Clinton.

Hello everyone.

Great news from Wayne County - heart of Tobacco country! Let's hope it holds. I think it will.

I usually vote the straight Republican place on the ballot but did not this year because of fear the "machines" would not count all the "straight Republican" votes.

This case proves that to be true - for this county. Why would it not be true in all the other counties???? Are their machines that different from what we use in Wake County? (it was a software glitch - not the machines themselves).

Is there anyone who has the numbers to be sure this did not happen in other counties - such as in WAKE COUNTY?

I tried to get a good wrap of all the election results from the NC GOP website, but the links provided there produced very unsatisfactory results. Anybody have a good link that shows the results of all the NC Election contests in a readable format? I am particularly interested in the Paul Coble Senate race which is one that hurt my heart since he lost. I cannot believe that loss, by the way.

One more thing - last night WRAL TV said the counting of the provisional ballots would be done by 11:30 PM last night. But still today nothing on their (biased) news website. This does not bode well for that race. The Florida fiasco fraud effects are certainly not just isolated to Florida and South Dakota.

Anybody know any latest news on the Sheriff's race?

And, yes, it's on to defeat Edwards and Easley and NEXT YEAR, LANG IN CARY!!!!!!

(KAYAK - LANG IS AN ATHEIST and I suppose would not be qualified to run for office by the information you printed (unless that is for just state office, not local).

The Dems will put big guns into these local races because it provides them a place to dump their party operatives who then make a taxpayer paid salary so they can they go out and work for Democrats to stay in office. Nice setup.

By the way - if anybody else can join in - start NOW joining me in praying (and working - those who live in the area) for Lang's ouster from the Cary Mayorship!

At least they have paper receipts to count. In my Maryland county, there was no printed copy at all. He who writes the software controls the outcome. I don't trust computer balloting at all. 2002 may turn out to be our best election, before the Rats learn how to reprogram the computers.

You are so right. There is no substitute for a paper ballot.

How many computer experts do you think really know how this electronic voting works? 20? 50? However many there are, I can guarantee you that Hillary knows EVERYTHING about each of them and OWNS BODY AND SOUL at least half of them.

Hillary is not afraid of polls or even votes because she knows that in 2004 she can manipulate the electronic compilations so that she can turn a huge defeat into a huge (or maybe slight) victory.

I've heard of too many problems with counting straight tickets, especially REPUBLICAN straight tickets

Since the dems are the party of government, let's face it...it follows that Republicans are more likely to be on the loosing end of the technical malfunctions.

Who here has ordered from a web sight ? How many time has the page got it wrong.
