That is a good idea, however I have always just supposed that if you have hardened yourself to remain in the Democratic Party, you have to be slime from the get go.

But a call wouldn't hurt just to panic him.=o)

Do you think the FBI starts major investigations just for kicks? They're going ot get it. All we have to do is convince Thune to request that the Senate seat Johnson conditionally pending the results of the FBI investigation. The lady they have right now has been all but hung out to dry - I've heard she's already been talking and has implicated some supervisors in the South Dakota Democratic Party.

Let us know how you've heard what you've heard, please.

I think it was in one of the SD vote fraud articles posted here. I'm not sure, though...

This might also be what I have seen. There may be other stuff - I didn't think to bump the thread I saw that on...

If the FBI investigates thoroughly, people are caught, and sent to prison, then there will be a reduced probability of this happening again. DemonRats will engage in vote fraud only as long as it is an essentially-riskless undertaking.

Yeah, I'm all for the FBI investigating.

What the hell was invasive about it?

You obviously never heard about the "long" version.

That is precisely the statement I responded to. My elderly mother inlaw got one. I helped her to fill it out. I am familiar with the questions asked. They were voluntary and delt with information that was somewhat personal, but not invasive as they were voluntary.

Frankly, I wish they had not done this because of the controversy. They likely will not attempt it again. They did gleen some info though. It is usable and valuable as a snapshot of social conditions.

Sociologists really value this stuff. Planners and educators as well. I had no real objection to it.

vote fraud worked quite well for LBJ--from the beginning all the way to the end. He was caught, often, but never paid any price...
