6:15 in VA District 8. I'm not thrilled with Tate but Moran the Wife Beater has got to go. No on all give-us-more-money-so-we-can-waste-it issues.

Voter # 27 in my precinct on the Repub side No Federal Senators in Ohio this election and I held my Nose to vote for Taft.

Hopefully my old High School chum John Carey(R) (State of Ohio Rep) will be successful in in his bid oust Shoemaker(D) for Ohio State Senator.

Voted for Doug Forrester @ 6:30 this morning. Unfortunately, my vote will probably be nullified by an illegal immigrant (or life challenged) in North Jersey.

On a different note, the VNS (Voter News Service) was camped right outside the entrance to my local firehouse. When she had asked if I would answer some questions, I let her know what I thought of their last performance in Florida and politely declined her offer. I drew some curious looks from the few who were already filling out some papers.

No hanging chads, but I did use Ohio's efficient punchcard system to vote for Taft, Blackwell, Petro, Montgomery, O'Connor, and Stratton. Looks like another Republican sweep, as the ineptitude of the State 'Rat Party continues.

Hoping and praying for a quick and positive result tonight.

I'm in. Too bad they don't have 1 lever to pull the whole Republican row.

Do all polling places have old people running them?

Voted straight (R) in Ohio this AM. Polling place was pretty busy 1/2 hour after opening. This is just people voting prior to going to work.

Voted for Governor Rowland and the Republican team here in Southwestern CT.

But the most satisfying vote of the morning was for Martha Dean for state Attorney General - against that reptile, Richard Blumenthal!
