so I changed to MSNBC and Chrissy Matthews was on, almost gleeful, saying last night was a rallying cry for all RATS across the country, and it will be hard to beat the Rats on the 5th........I know I shouldn't be surprised, but somehow I guess I always hope Matthews will see right from wrong. I might watch a little of his show later to see if he has any guests on who can set him straight.

"I'm glad Cheney wasn't there." So am I! I would really have hated to see him humiliated the way that Lott and others were last night.

ABC radio news just reported that "Democratic Party officials" are now "APOLOGIZING" for the "tone" of the "memorial service," saying that it got a bit "out of hand" and was perhaps a little "too spontaneous."
Spontaneous, my foot. When you have such a slickly produced spectacle, e.g., with Clintons making their grand entrance to the blaring of an R & B band, it is anything but spontaneous.

"I feel violated. I feel duped. Trent Lott flew all the way down here to attend a memorial service for a fellow senator and was booood. I think the Democrats should hang their heads in shame."You forgot one quote that I heard.
Gov. Ventura: "I feel USED."

There were even "Applause" signs displayed when the audience was supposed to applause. I doubt that the grieving sons arranged for that.

So I suppose that all those Democrats who were giving Rick Kahns' speech a "rousing applause" really didn't mean it?

Love Ventura calling like it is.I am hoping and praying that the Minnesota media outlets are playing that sound bite, "The democrats should hang their heads in shame," repeatedly.

It is not the sons' fault, except perhaps for a bit role.
The whole political orgy was designed and executed by the DNC and the DFL, the MN state RAT party.
Blaming the kids is just another unbelievable breach of propriety from low class, despicable people.

The Rats' bottom line is made abundantly clear in the threats of lawsuits if the vote doesn't go their way. They already have an action pending regarding the handling of absentee ballots and are fighting to skew that in their favor. It is all about winning and power to them and they will stop at nothing in these key states as we have already seen in New Jersey and the cases of voter fraud that have already turned up in other states where their are tight races.
Now the king Rat is coming to Arkansas to rally the Rats and likely try to get the courthouse opened on Sunday to bus the Rats to the polls. We're gonna FReep this event. We should have signs that have something referring to the Wellstone "memorial". Hope you can join us.
This is too funny: "Fritz and Tits" (hubby's name for them) helped the Dumbocrap party go down in flames once before---looks like "it's deja vu all over again"--LOLWords can't adequately describe the low-class poor taste and selfishness on display at that mockery of a memorial service. The Wellstone family was used and tossed away like toilet paper, so that worthless b@st@rds like D@sshole and Harkin could make gasbag speeches and keep a deathgrip on the Senate. No question--the Dumbocrap Party has been thoroughly Clintonized.

She actually claimed that the Democratic Party would never have run it in such a fashion. She claimed they even would have asked Ventura to speak! Gee, Geraldine. We might believe you if many in the crowd had had a shocked or embarrassed look on their faces. But everyone was having a grand old time. Bill and Hillary were reveling in being noticed again.
Ventura and Lott left...tells you something.

"Everything, and everyone, must be sacrificed, in promoting the cause of socialism. There is no honor among theives."
Yeah, that's true. In socialism everyone must work together for the "common good." Socialists have always been ready to "eliminate" anyone that might be working towards a personal rather than the official goal.

Ummm...I caught just a few minutes of this DemoSocialistMarxist Promo....and I saw one of Senator Wellstones son's speaking...and I actually thought he appeared remarkably composed and together & way over the top...considering the circumstances. I found it odd, frankly.
IF...I'd of just lost my mother, my father, and a sister....I'd of never had been able to write a speach like the one I heard....let alone give it.
Now...like I said, I only caught a few min. of this...so maybe my perception is skewed.....
FWIW--

Whew, their internal polling numbers must be realllly bad if they're willing to sacrifice the Wellstone sons les than 24 hrs after that debacle.
I've been to any number of funerals, memorial services and wakes but nevah in my life have I ever witnessed such a crass and disgraceful display of opportunism and disrespect at someone's passing. It was egregiously shameful campaigning and politics at its most vulgar. Has everyone in the democrat party completely lost any sense of decency or propriety ? Words fail me.
