To me, looking into his face is looking into the face of True Evil.

Or at least Ugly Personified....

It is very unusual to forbid someone to attend a service for the deceased. The two sons that allowed this to happen showed disrespect for their father, mother, and sister. The press and Dem officials that sanctioned this charade, show no more respect for the deceased.

During the eight years of Clinton, we found out that dems have no respect for the office of the President, and now we see what they think of the office of the VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES! I remember when my father died, it would have been such an honor, yes even if it was Al Gore. Your respect for the office has to go beyond the person occupying the office, and the dems can't bring themselves to do that, after all, that would involve a degree of PATRIOTISM!

Carville Tied to Wellstone Family's Cheney Snub

Drag a $100 bill through a funeral, and Carvile pops up.

Was Paul Wellstone the type of man who would have endorsed a memorial service to honor the tragically dead turned into a political rally for the thinly veiled purpose of energizing the flagging political fortunes of a particular party?

As misguided as his politics were, to all accounts he had enough pesonal class and dignity that the only possible answer is not merely "no", but "HELL, no".

Banished? For telling the truth?

Well, duh -- of course telling the truth will get you kicked out of the Liars' Club.

This Secret Service contingent?
Of course, no one remembers the headline "Chelsea Trashed Her Secret Service Bodyguards as 'Trained Pigs.'" That's because no such story ever appeared in the mainstream press, despite the fact that Secret Service sources gave veteran White House FBI agent Gary Aldrich that very juicy quote.
"One source reports that two Secret Service agents heard Hillary's daughter Chelsea refer to them as 'personal trained pigs' to some of her friends," Aldrich reported in his 1996 best seller, "Unlimited Access."
"The senior agent on the detail tried to scold Chelsea for such disrespect. He told her ... that her father the president would be shocked if he heard what she had just said to her friends. Chelsea's response?
"'I don't think so. That's what my parents call you.'"

so, who is gollum?

James Carvelle. I'm sure someone can come up with a side-by-side for this.

If indeed he would have disapproved, wouldn't his own sons have known this. Don't you think they knew him best and would have been able to know better than any of us what Wellstone would have wanted?

My impression, and I'm not a Minnesooootan, is that he was that rare thing, a fairly sincere and decent liberal. But his family sure seized the chance to make his memory crass and self-serving, and you can tell a lot about someone from his family. Kennedys, for instance.

On the other hand, no one needs to orchestrate anything to humiliate the Clinton family. They repeatedly embarrass themselves with no help from anyone.

Democratic Underground the anti-Free Republic.

Not quite. Although both are politcal sites, one is a liberal cesspool of raving lunatics. The other is a respectable conservative forum where fact and common sense triumph.

It's like comparing a Turd to the Taj Mahal. They both start with the letter T. End similarities.

Let's hope that this election is the final flush for the Clinton Turds: Begala, Shrum, Carville, and McCauliffe, along with the Clintons themselves
