Vey Series.

If you're gonna bash the Giants, at least do it based in reality! Here's some reality for you -- The S.F. Giants have NEVER won a WS, and their historical choking in the playoffs has been, if not on the same level as the Red Sox and Cubs, noteworthy nevertheless. If they're to erase these demons, they're going to have to win a game this weekend. ....and I'll believe it when I see it.

Fair enough. But look at the Giants in THIS postseason - they are a far tougher, more resiliant team than both the 87 and 89 teams. No Maldonado. No Hammaker. We'll see.

Go Angels!! As a Dodgers fan, I pull for whoever is playing the Giants

One new team will win it all this year. I like that. Spreading the joy around. Arizona last year and another World Series newbie champ again this year. Yeah yeah....I know the Giants in NY won 5 World Series.

No score after two innings...getting pretty series.

I'll give you that.... (Btw, my razzing is all in good fun :-) I know it is! :-) Believe me - I was crushed in 87 - that was just a nightmare, and it was recent enough for this team to have learned those lessons.
I think the WS sweep in 89 is still fresh in the organization's mind, and again, they learned. I think this year's Angels is a FAR tougher team than the 89 A's. Any teams that can eliminate the Yankees in the first round has my respect. They can play.

Has he peaked? I see an upward climb that hasn't shown any signs of abating. I mean, he can't continue to just get better, can he?

I would think the Giants would be the fruits...San Francisco and all.
Spezio and Eckstein are surely nuts.
To: bootless
I aim to please. :-)

The Giants won only one WS since John McGraw.

2-1 Count, 2 outs in the top of the third.
Pop-up fly caught, ending the Giants' lineup for this inning.
