Hope that large plastic coated "thingy" being loaded into the (white truck) isn't a reactor coreOr a UFO or Hoffa or Judge Crater ..............

"But the lack of the feds taking this over makes me think that they don't want to handcuff themselves to federal regulations and standards..." That, and perhaps they are trying to steer the public away from the idea that it is terrorism or even to keep the perpetrators themselves in the dark as to how they are looking at this case.

Look on the bright side, maybe Bagdad Jim will get the boot, would'nt that be something.

A lot of good that'll do ya with rental property... Apparently the OWNER of the property is not a suspect... that leaves whomever may have lived in the rental side of the Duplex in the past as a possible lead....
That being said, let the guy who lives there have his privacy... the last thing we need is a Richard Jewell type scenario occurring...

The conjecture on this thread is that the card led to this location, somehow. Sounds like a wild goose chase.
To: Gracey
home was broken into
The card came from this home, and I'll bet anything a gun was stolen in the break-in so they are looking for bullet fragments to see if it is the gun that is currently being used by the sniper.
I'll bet the owner used to do target shooting in the yard before the gun was stolen. This is why he isn't a suspect.

Wasn't one of the Islamic dudes arrested in WA former military? Reserves or something? Anybody?

Fox News said there are a string of suspects involved in the sniper shootings.I don't think FOX said anything about a "string of suspects."

"me thinks they are ON TO the PREVIOUS owner of that credit card....." And possible previous owner of the gun?
To: dougherty
I hope the police are onto something substantial here, and not another fiasco like the one that occurred on Monday with the two illegal aliens at the pay phone.Well, you have to understand that here in Richmond we treat illegal aliens a little differently than they do in California and Texas.

No bodies! Brian Wilson says no bodies are being looked for! Weapons only!
To: HoustonCurmudgeon
Wait a minute. Didn't they just hoist that thing into the truck by hand? Seemed like an awfully BIG tree stump to be so incredibly light.
To: Shermy
Search for weapons, bullet casings, or the ammo itself!
