You joined FR less than a fortnight ago, decided to chide and rebuke those , who've been here a long time, tell us all how we should behave ( acording to you ), and expect respect and accolades for that ? You've taken it upon yourself, to criticize someone publicly, for rudeness ( yes dear, YOU
are being R-U-D-E !), when what she did, was NOT done publicly .
We have ALWAYS ridiculed / made fun of / whatever else you seem to have taken great and uncalled for umbrage with , here on FR. Perhaps , this is not the right forum for you. Most of us , here, are neither supercilious , unctious, " HOLIER - THAN - THOUers " , nor as dismally politically naive as you are.

Speaking of "large", The Goron has definately packed on the pounds!!! ... some on AMAZING love-handles on display!!! He sure has put it on in the face- not good for his TV appearances.
Note that when he came to Memphis a few weeks back for a Democratic fundraiser, he couldn't even get a rioom in the city's premiere Peabody, but had to settle for a room at the university Holiday Inn. He's toast in Tennessee.

Yes, I do believe that democrats are human beings... And that is where the difference resides. The majority of the people on FR have realized that demonRATS are NOT human. They surrendered their humanity when they sold their souls to satan and her hubby Bubba. Actually, it happened a lot earlier than that, but every couple of years at election time, they renew their comittment to being evil, soul-less spawns of the greatest enemy to ever launch an attack on everything that this nation was founded upon. The demonRATS have made an unholy alliance with everything that is evil in an attempt to destroy this country.
I know they are inhuman. What they are is still a mystery, but whatever it is, it aint human.

Let me get this straight now....You thought these people were rude to Mr. Gore and you feel they should apologize for their behavior. Where are you living? Please take your liberal views to Hollywood and cry on their shoulders...If anything it has been the liberals with "boorish behavior"! The respect for our president by the liberals are lacking and if their is going to be any apologizing it should be done by the democrats.
To: mason123
I sure would like to see the liberals show some tolerance...Mr. Colin Powell, Miss Condoleezza Rice, President Bush, Dick Cheney are only a few on a long list of people targeted for attacks by democrats....They need the lesson in tolerance.

FWIW, Sen Paul Simon was on a plane I rode on. i think this was just after he retired.
I recognized him, but what are you to say to someone famous?
I have respect for Paul Simon, he's an honest Liberal who I happen to agree on only a few political issues with.
I was thinking of saying
"hey are you Paul Simon?"
"why yes I am"
"you know I am a big admirer of yours"
"why thank you!"
"yeah, i really love 'bridge over troubled water'.
It's cool you have time for singing and politics both.
By the way, whatever happened to Garfunkel???"
but i didnt. :-)

on this i disagree: most politicians probably use commercial airlines. see my other post, i've seen some - saw Paul Simon (senator), saw Ann Richards at the airport in Austin, probably back from NYC gabfest. etc.
OTOH: "I've looked around and can't find any mention of Gore being on any boards of any companies." This is interesting ... not even occidental pretroleum??? hmmm..

DITTOS ON A GREAT REPLY.
Yes, let's be respectful to eachother, but let's *not* let the lyin' Liberals define who we are.
And it *IS* okay to have fun at the expense of the wierdness of the enemies of our freedom --- whether we are talking about BJ Clinton's love for 500 year old mummified 14 year old, or Gore's maladroitness as a human being. face it, the Goron is NOT THAT BRIGHT and is in fact a geek who got lucky in his father the Senator. He's had more advantages than most of us here on this board and has less leadership skill and natural talent than most if us here.
So posting his "underdog" costume picture is a NATIONAL SERVICE to remind us of how LUCKY we are to be blessed with Palm Beach voters.

Most do. I'm not talking about them. The ones with a real shot at the big brass ring, the United States presidency, don't very often fly commercial. They don't have to. It's a matter of money. And for the people that have a real shot money does not matter.
If Gore has to carry his own bags, so to speak, the bucks are not there. Which means the confidence is not there. Which means he is out of the big show.
But that could change. And the first sign will be if Gore is not slumming around on Southwest and at least is flying a Challenger or something similiar.
