Yes, anything that Richardson does will be fine with the people of NM. They do not require high standards of their leaders. I think many do not even the actions and omissions of their leaders. I have also read that the SW House seat may fall to the Democrats after more than two decades of Republican control.

Richardson had a top ADA rating and his Third District took national honors for heroin overdose deaths.

The fire noted above caused the evacuation of the Los Alamos National Laboratory, and subsequent "discovery" of two missing drives containing international warhead data.

Wen Ho Lee was allowed to download vast amounts of nuclear weapons data, for which he never accounted.

Richardson did indeed offer Monica a job on Clinton's request.

It will be recalled that New Mexico was some three hundred towards Bush, when 500 Gore votes were "found"--a 1 turned out to be a 6 with the simple addition of a small loop.

John Sanchez reversed the Democrat free ride to perverts with his defeat of Raymond Sanchez and passage of a Meagan's Law.

With the election of Richardson as Governor, the continued sixty-year control of both houses of the legislature by Democrats, New Mexico is ensured last place on all the good lists, and first place on all the bad.

And how 'bout that Marty Chavez back in the saddle as Albuquerque mayor and up to his SE grin in slush fund scandal?

Didn't Governor Johnson not contest the Gore victory in NM? Can someone from NM evaluate the Johnson administration -- after all he has been there for eight years now? My understanding is that he spent much of his time advocating drug legalization and the rest of the time exercising, riding bicycles, hiking, etc. Wasn't he primarily elected because Green party candidates siphoned off part of the elite Democrat base?

LOL, I know what you mean! However, I kind of LIKE the "isolation". Not as many idiots to contend with (except the drivers!).

There was plenty of eivdence that Gore won NM because of vote fraud (particularly the 600 miracle votes in Dona Ana County). However, with only 3 electoral votes, we wouldn't have put Bush over the top. Florida was the battle ground, and I believe that the word came down to not "muddy the waters" by fighting it out here.

At least you admit they're babies. That's a start.

Gary Johnson promoted school vouchers and vetoed hundreds of Democrat pork bills.

He was a wonderful breath of fresh air after the corrupt Bruce King regime.

His notoriety vis a vis drug legislation arose late in his service, and is a convenient red herring.

At heart, he's an independent businessman with conservative principles who realized a childhood dream to be governor.

The Democrat machine was defeated twice by his campaign.

Richardson promises to bring it back with a vengeance.

But Richardson embodies the answer to long-standing mystery:

What do dermatologists do with the putrid residue of their liposuction procedures?

They build the Crisco Kid.
