These good poll numbers can't be.....even Fox News and O'Reilly were talking all week about Jeb's upcoming loss to McBride.

So that would gel with Zogby. Too close on this one. The Rats would give up the Senate and House just to have Jeb's head.

"I received a telephone call one evening this past week that was a recorded message from Barbara Bush reminding me to get out and vote,...." "Any other Republicans in Florida get the same telephone call? "
Yes. My daughter received the Barbara Bush message this past week and a message from JEB! about 3 weeks ago. I don't have DSL or cable so my line is always busy. I don't think the calls indicate panic, just a proper use of the tools the campaign has.

I really think you're to be commended for all the work you've done on FR to keep Freepers informed about Jeb's race. None of us doubt who's the better man or who should win, but what worries me is the dim's propensity for election manipulation, dirty tricks and voter fraud. Is there an organized effort afoot in FL by the GOP to prevent the dim's from stealing this race? The story last week about 18 missing voting machines in Broward County is worrisome. I feel like we've got the best candidates throughout the country but I really fear MASSIVE voter fraud throughout the country, but especially in FL, NJ, MN, SD and as always, MD.
We saw MASSIVE fraud in 2000 in MI, OR, PA, MO. and N.M. ...not to mention the debacle in FL. and I truly don't want to see a replay, but the dim's primary last month tells me that the FL democratic party seems to be planning a reprise.

The Democrats have decided to make their stand in Florida,by defeating Jeb and positioning Florida to go in the Dems column ,in 2004. McBride strikes me physically as clinton like- a doughy, florid face, with anger and nastiness ,just bubbling below the surface. Chris Matthews ,Carville and Begala appear on the verge of madness, over the midterm elections-they do not look at all comfortable and at peace. They look absolutely terrified and that's when the Dems are most dangerous. We must get out the vote, nationwide, like we have never done before!!

I would not be so quick to dismiss this poll. I read the pollster's web site, and they have a very good reputation in polling.

I think these poll numbers are accurate, and I am somewhat amused at the media hysteria right now. When it's over -- and Gov Bush wins it hands down in a fair election -- they will all be eating their hats.

You should check out this polling firm's web site, and then also check back for poll numbers after this Tuesday's debate. Gov Bush will widen his lead again.

Jeb will clean up in debate #3! I read that his mother will be there, too, to cheer him on. As for Chris Matthews, he's lost all credibility with me. I'm really glad to hear that his ratings have slid.
Here's my take.
If I were Jeb, I would see if I could get GW and Laura to show up for the debate. Talk about media! IIRC, Russert is doing this debate, and it looks like it's going to be a doozy.
Having GW, Laura, and Bar show up would really help.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

I think Gov Bush will hit a homerun in Debate #3 on matter who is or isn't in the audience. He has been doing great in the debates. McMumble mcstumbles every time.
