It is very hard for me to critique CSI Miami as I invariably fall asleep by the second commercial break.

I and many of my friends have absolutely no quarrel with Kim Delany's controversial wardrobe choices, oddly enough. She's a keeper.

But the original CSI is superior.

Okay, okay, I can tolerate the bad outfits (blame it on the wardrobe dept.) but the twitchy acting bugs me.

It seems to me that "Manhunter" was also the inspiration for one of Robin Williams latest flicks "One Hour Photo," a story about a film developer becoming obsessed with the families in the film he processes, which of course how the villian in "Manhunter" id'd his targets!!

Did anyone else see this show?

I saw it and was very impressed. It took about 5 minutes to figure out who the Hamiltons were.

The Miami script-writing wasn't nearly as good as that of the "regular' CSI, in my opinion. Seemed like a cheap spin-off.

Yeah but girls look better!

Do you remember the woman's account in the Kennedy-Smith case? While young Kennedy-Smith was talking with the woman, Ted Kennedy comes into the room with a shirt on and no pants. He later said that he didn't see anything odd or unusual in this.

Actually I watch Law and Order too. I was thinking of that as a forensics-type show although that's a loose definition. I have heard the DA character (the blonde) say some wacky stuff though like "this stupid Bill of Rights getting in the way." Huh? Maybe she was just being sarcastic and I didn't get it.

Sorry I didn't answer you last night. My internet server served up only a blank white screen for the next couple hours. This is happening a lot lately and I'm not sure what is going on.

Sorry I didn't answer last night. My internet serve went blank.

You're right there seems to be more science in CSI Las Vegas, and Peterson is more believable as a science geek than Caruso who has his persona defined already by NYPD Blue.

But these are the first shows. Maybe they'll work out the bugs.

Have you seen the first CSI Las Vegas shows? The lighting was from the Sundance school of amateur art and very annoying.

Well I've not banned CBS for reasons like this. CBS is wisening up on its programming content. I think most of their Monday night shows are decent. There was an episode of Yes Dear that made me want to hurl about child spanking though.

ABC lined up a new season of radical liberal shows. NBC is dying to keep their liberal shows breathing. Every heavily liberal network is bleeding money.

Every heavily liberal network is bleeding money.

Costs money to put up propaganda no one wants to see.

I'm still hoping The Agency (CBS, Saturday, 10pm about the CIA) will work its liberal kinks out as it has potential to be a really good show.

They recently replaced a "moderate" softie (Matt) with a real hunk (Stiles) so I'm watching just for the fun right now although it remains annoyingly too liberal much of the time.
