He's not the problem, satan is. There are spirits behind all this. What can you do about McDermott except not vote for him next time. All you can do is pray against the powers and principalities that run him. That can make the change.

I always pray, Mary. But without the use of discourse and humor we have no weapons with which to defeat those who would take this nation into the abyss.

McDermott is not my representative. His election is guaranteed by the make-up of his district. The effort to shame people like this must be made in a larger context, so that other representatives do not see him as a respectable ally.

I am sorry if you found the Rat poster offensive. I picked it up from another freeper and thought it was funny. Of course not all democrats are the enemy; but some are, and I want them removed from influence in their party, because they are bent on destroying this country. No party has the corner on righteousness, but some people are beyond the pale.

Off to do other things. Have a great day!

The rats are scared I tell you. I was in a chat room last night that is frequented by both lefists and conservotives plus a few liberitarians. I saved one of the posts from a liberal

even much mo' betta dosset - voice of reason

I am sad to say that Bush out manuevered the Democrats on yet another issue. The Senate Majority Leader is lacking in his leasership skills. Now we hear of massive voter fraud in South Dakota. This could spell trouble for our beloved Democrats.

(The PM means private message btw)

Truth, love and character on the inside will always shine through in the form of beauty. That aptly describes our President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush.

Lies, cheating, lack of character on the inside will always and ever shine through in the form of pure ugliness and evil. That aptly describes "them."

I didn't find the rat poster offensive. I just know that this is spiritual warfare and we need to get on our knees to combat it. I'm all for making McDermott a traitor and for exposing him, but that won't solve the deep-seated problem with these turkeys. Only God can do that and our praying that He will. We have much common ground, Miss Marple.

That Psalm is sooooo very powerful - thank you, mtgngrl! I read it at just the moment I needed to read it today. Thanks again for taking on that daily dose task.

And for your friendship!!!!! God's best blessings to you and to all the Daily Dosers. And may God continue to light the path of our PResident and his advisors and those in our military and investigative services and all around the world - Let God's voice be heard in the minds and hearts of people everywhere who are turning to Him for answers in this bewildering time in which we live! HE is THE ANSWER and HOLDS the answers to all our problems and to all our questions. All Praise and Glory and Honor be to His Name forever!

I know you just copied, and it wasn't you. I found it funny, that's all. Leasership.

And yes, we can all make mistakiees. Seriously, I liked (!) the Beloved Democrats thing.

Beloved.....never mind. I'm going back to the vacuuming.

They are working from an emotional base of belief and are out to show they are still alive and still lethal and still set on killing every Infidel in the world and many moderate Muslims as they indulge in Jihad to make the world "pure."

Normal human beings know right from wrong -- even agnostics and atheists. Some fundamentals of behavior aren't necessarily based on religion even though most religions reinforce basic human ethics and morals, kwim? All I can conclude is that they are sociopaths.

And keep this in mind. Younger women in the work force may be nasty to you

Horrors! Thanks for filling me in. I'm very fortunate in this job. I'll be managing a small office for a Board of Directors who are all successful middle aged people, a few are friends, and many are casual acquaintances. The younger women will be under my direction so they better not be nasty. Today their behavior was exemplary.

Thanks to all of you for the good wishes. I did manage to survive my first day no worse for the wear, but boy did I miss Free Republic, lol!

Younger women expect you to be their buddy and have their point of view on how to juggle their family/social needs and their job obligations.

You may want to lock down quickly how you are going to handle requests for "favors"-- taking time off, leaving early, arriving late, going to appointments during work hours, etc.

You need to find the ground between being hated or being walked over and having the business suffer from both problems. The funny thing is they grouse about male supervisors but they accept that men are "that way", but they have trouble handling a woman supervisor insisting on business behavior and standards that conflict with their family/social needs.

And jealousy is a factor, too, in my experience.

Yes, some are sociopaths, but I think many are fanatics. And also there are many are dupes who have been brainwashed from birth, which would deeply suppress any innate conscience. It's a mess.
