One source attributed the leak to “sensationalistic” press outlets in Prague that published the list without regard for national security.

Sounds like our liberal press. Secretly (in or case- openly) side with the enemy (and get out the Democrat vote).

Could all the denials about Atta meeting al Ani in Prague have been meant to protect this source?

I don't know, but I kind of doubt it. The article says

As part of an investigation of corruption within the Czech military intelligence service, a list of agents was disclosed to the press in early September.

If the life of an agent hung in the balance, I don't think the Czech government and the WH would have confirmed the meeting. Just my opinion.

VS

Come on, what did you expect? These two things are DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED to one another. Sounds like a set up to me.
