The Central Intelligence Agency has refused to provide Congress a comprehensive report on its role in a possible American campaign against Iraq,... I guess the CIA didn't want to read their report in the pages of tomorrow's Times.

The Central Intelligence Agency has refused to provide Congress a comprehensive report on its role in a possible American campaign against IraqI was gonnas say, based on the first sentance alone, the C.I.A. has intelligence after all..

I wouldn't tell anyone anything unless my Commander in Chief told me to.
Too many leaks in those intelligence commitees (no matter who runs them)

I guess the CIA didn't want to read their report in the pages of tomorrow's Times. Exactly. The Senate leaks like a sieve.
The CIA can argue "national security" and Congress can be damned.

Leaky Leahy and Killer Kennedy, not to mention Devious Daschle, are all capable of using intel to alert our enemies so that the President's war effort be more costly, because that favors democrats in subsequent elections. Don't agree the dems are capable of such treachery?... How many children have the democrats sacrificed to partial birth abortion murder, just to hold onto feminazi votes?

Who's the source here? Leahy, Levin, Biden? Given the sieve-like nature of the Congressional committees, this kind of information at this time should be strictly "need to know". Congressional oversight may easily be exercized without the kind of information that could compromise near term operations and endanger our assets.

Doesn`t this article`s existence in and of itself, prove that the CIA is right? The meeting was behind closed doors, how did NYT find out what happened.

The Rats will just leak it. Why should they be given grist for their propaganda mill. The words of Tommy boy and McDermott prove they can't be trusted. And Patrick Leahy is a proven stab_you_in_the_back leaker. A pox on them.

I guess the CIA didn't want to read their report in the pages of tomorrow's Times. That was my first thought also, but I assume you mean the Baghdad Times? No doubt the report would be on Saddam's desk in 5 minutes. My goodness, we are so cynical of the Demon Cats aren't we? There is a reason for that. They have priors.

Chamberlain on left, Hitler on right
McDermott on left, Iraqi "health minister" on right
I came across this phenomenal set of pictures last night when preparing a response to Streisand's laughable "Mem'ries" song. So, let's face it, without Streisand's idiocy, we wouldn't have this great photo set of appeasement in action.

If the C. I. A. gives the traitor senators the report, they should request the extra body bags at the same time !!!

Exactly. The Senate leaks like a sieve. The leaks will go directly to the NY Times. It's no surprise that they published this.
