Just too many angles to chuckle at in this column.
Sing to the tune of James Brown....

I'm just glad that the enemy have one highly visible, openly-distinguishing feature -- big ZZ-Top beards.

My Mom said she watched 2 southern ministers debating whose religion was better. One was a Southern Baptist and the other was First Christian Church.
After a long debate, the Baptist declared "I'm a Baptist and I'm gonna STAY a Baptist! I'll NEVER become a Christian."

.
To put another religion down in hopes of uplifting your own is not taking the ethical high road, but it does maintain many of their followers' existing paranoia of Muslims and the spread of Islam. How about the systematic murdering of Christians in Pakistan?
How about keeping women in virtual slavery?

6:108 - And insult not those whom they (the disbelievers) worship besides Allah, lest they insult Allah wrongfully without knowledge. Thus we have made fair-seeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall then inform them of what they used to do.
...then kill them all
Seems this toad left out the last line.

It's hard to understand the incorrect context of the instructions to kill Christians. Islam - religion of peace (of sh-t)!
To: swarthyguy
Sweet Jebus!--Thousands of his fellow believers are killing innocent people and spreading hate all around the world, and what does he talk about? Pat Robertson and Franklin Graham. What a frigging putz. CLEAN YOUR OWN HOUSE, MUSLIM.

In all my studies on various religions, I've yet to come across one that promotes senseless violence. And therein lies the key, the radical Muslims believe that killing non-Muslims is their mission, therefore it is not senseless.
To: swarthyguy
I've read the statements by Franklin Graham and watched Pat Robertson as he called Islam a religion of violence. I've read the statements by Mohammed that show the statements from Franklin Graham and Pat Robertson to be true.
Is it a religion of peace or a religion of submission? A combination of the two - if you don't submit, then you have no peace.

Just a little plug for my mom and dad's church...

wha wha wha, another victim group for the demorats to get reparations for.
I guess this guy never thought about getting mad at the people who give his kind a bad name. No, much easier to get mad at the ones who dare to notice what a hateful bunch most practioners of Islam are.

Nowhere in Mr. Janney's dissertation does he condemn the terrorist attacks, or write off the Muslim terrorists as a lunatic fringe.
We are to assume, however, that his personal persecution is due to Christian envy for power. Now that's a creative diversion. Last time I checked, the Baptists weren't flying planes into Muslim buildings to cut down on the competition.
I find the grocery clerk/condensed milk story just too convenient, and just too "sweet." Why did the clerk ask if he was Amish? Why didn't the clerk ask if he was planning on making candy?
I suppose that same chatty, compassionate clerk comments on everyone's purchases. "I see you are buying some some beef jerky. Are you a cowboy?"
LOL at Mr. Janney's "slice of life" editorial column.

Considering the long history of Islam in the Balkans, Islam is not new to white folks.....However, Islam and Christianity need not be archenemies. Islam never intended for such discord between the two faiths. Yeah. If islam never intended to be the archenemy of Christ and his people, how do you think "the long history of Islam in the Balkans" ever occurred? Or, for that matter, the islamization of such formerly Christian countries as Egypt, Syria, the Holy Land, and Asia Minor?
islam is about wold conquest, pure and simple!!!! Look for white muslims--whether US converts or "Bosnians", "Kosovars", and Chechens--to commit acts of terrorism in America!!!!

In fact, there are numerous references to everyday behavioral teachings in Islamic texts that instruct Muslims to be respectful to people of other faiths, especially Christians and Jews who share the same line of prophets and revelations. The Qur'an is clear about this issue of defaming other religions:
6:108 - And insult not those whom they (the disbelievers) worship besides Allah, lest they insult Allah wrongfully without knowledge. Thus we have made fair-seeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall then inform them of what they used to do.
Of course there are similarities between Islam and the Judeo-Christian faiths; Mohommed bastardized the Bible and rewrote it to suit his whims. His followers claim that the Bible had already become bastardized and that the true text was revealed to him.
As for defaming other religions, Christianity tells me one of the 10 commandments was "Thou shall have no other gods before me" (and I would assume that icludes moon idols) and that one must follow Jesus to be saved.
If others choose not to follow, that is their concern. I should continue to treat them as fellow human beings but I do not need to "honor" their traditions, read their texts, praise their deities, etc.
He makes a couple of references to his family. I wonder how his parents handled his denouncing of Jesus Christ.
The Bible is full of tales of lost sheep. Some return to the flock; there is no shame in that.

It never ceases to amaze me that in all these Muslim apologist articles, never once is addressed the fact that there are no Islamic democracies, and that Islam is in fact oppressive and violent in every country where it dominates.

Nice take on Muslim word parsing in your post #11.
There is senseless violence, and then there is sensible violence when it suits your needs.
