He's never been prouder than when he was first elected to congress. Hellsbells, we knew that....he hasn't done anything since to be proud of.
This tear-jerking display of delusional self-deception is making me sick.

Dirty doesn't begin to describe NJ politics. Surprised Clinton didn't run there; she'd have been right at home.

The Torch is Pathetic !
He goes from giving the DNC response to the President's weekly address on Saturday, to quitting two days later. The democRATS are indeed in full meltdown!

"There's no crying in New Jersey politics !" (c) [ that one tom hanks movie about crying in baseball ]
To: Recovering_Democrat
Torch pats himself on back for being first at work and last to leave. Easier to steal things when nobody else is there!

Reading off his own litany of heroism? What an ass!
To: Oldeconomybuyer
He created a mammography center and a center for abused children - ALL BY HIMSELF!

In general, the Democraps DO NOT allow contested PRIMARY ELECTIONS!
Remember when Rep. Nita Looney was going to run for the U.S. Senate? When Mrs. Bill Clinton stepped forward, the bosses genuflected and Looney was out.
Remember in the NJ Governor's race last year, when the TORCH was considering running, along with others, the bosses decided and Jim McGreedy was chosen.
The Democraps do NOT trust the choice of a candidate to the people.
I beleive someone like Barbara Steisand (B.S.) or Bill Bradley will be appointed to the vacancy created by a TORCH resignation. Then sometime after the new Congress is sworn in, that "celebrity" will resign and McGreedy will apoint Menendez, or some other pimp of the election industry.
And if it is BRADLEY, the Ledger probably already has the endorsement written! The jocks in NJ will overwhelmingly support him.

"I was asked to bring up a 'kitchen table' issue! This is the best I could do! Here is my last hurrah! Waaaa!"
To: Trust but Verify
Can someone give it to me in a nutshell and save me from reading through 800+ posts? What is going to happen to the seat in the Senate? No one knows.
