The bill that Byrd was stuffing all week, and the Dems wanted to bring to cloture because they jammed some deal breaker into the bill under darkness and didn't want any debate - that'd be Miller-Gramm (?). That's Zell's work that is being defecated on by his soulmates. Robert Byrd needs to be committed ASAP. His response after Dascheles was a melt down of alarming proportions - funny, it was his filibuster that was tying up the Homeland Security bill, and Bush directed his comments right at the old Klansman. How can a guy like Zell Miller even abide this nonsense? He was a powerful, productive Governor. He must be disgusted. He doesn't need this job, his resume is solid.

The lefties can riot all they want. This "tactic" will also fail. As I've said before, if things ever get really bad one of the conservative aces in the hole for this nation is that the military and police won't support the libs. One of my favorite memories and stories is going down to the Palm Beach protests when Gore tried to steal the election. Got to be friends with one of the cops on patrol. Made my week when he told me, "We (the police) are all on your side."
