Make no mistake, folks:
Gov Bush will win in November.
And, these influential Dems will bring independent voters, swing voters, and other Dem voters with them to the voting booth for Gov. Bush.
These Dem leaders know of the outstanding record of Gov Bush, as a fiscal conservative and a leading reformer for education. They are not ashamed to endorse the better candidate, just because the candidate and the voter do not share the same party.
These are the people who will help put Gov Bush over the top.
McLawyer is threatening to take this state into reverse on education, and threatening to end the economic success created by Gov Bush for the people of this state.
The contest is not just Bush verses McLawyer, but the successful recent past of our state under Gov Bush and a chance to continue that better future verses an inexperienced new candidate without the outstanding track record of Gov Bush.
FL lurkers, please:
VOTE SMART -- VOTE FOR FL -- VOTE FOR JEB.

McLawyer is toast. The DNC can not afford to fund his campaign AND retain the Senate AND try to win the house. But McLawyer can comfort himself with the fact that he can have dinner at the new DNC headquarters which squandered away the millions which could have helped him win election.

Did they get the support of the late Gov. Lawton Chiles as he made his way to the polls to vote in the primary?

Perhaps (s)he jests. If the dead can vote, why can't they endorse, too?

Re your post #13 - FL is a swing state, and if you have not yet figured out that the only way to win an election in this state is to get some of the other party's votes, then you haven't followed FL politics. Furthermore, Gov. Bush's education reforms are clearly NOT the mainstream line of the Dem Party. In addition, he has kept taxes low, and the first promise out of McLawyer's mouth was to RAISE taxes. So - wake up.

To tell you the truth, seeing all these Dem leaders endorse Gov Bush is the first time in a very long time I have felt anything positive toward the Dem Party.

What's your problem? Neither the Democrats nor Republicans have come in support of racial segregation?

Wayne Mixson, former governor of Florida. Interesting fact. He was Lt. Gov. under Bob Grahm and served 3 days as governor when BG resigned to take his US senate seat.
