LCS, Guess what? Your favorite candidate and mine - Bob Kunst, who the Dems would not even let into a Dem Party fundraiser - has 1% of the vote in FL, according to today's Mason Dixon Poll. That is incredible. His 1% could make or break this election, if it turns out to be close. Maybe those Dems should NOT have made Bob stay out in the parking lot, as I said before! :)

I doubt quite seriously that the Tribune will endorse McLawyer. He is going to tout all of the programs which created the messes under that idiot Chiles. Jeb will shred him in the debates.

Jeb will shred him in the debates.
I am certain of that as well. And for McLawyer to lose an endorsement from the not so conservative Tampa Tribune, his hometown newspaper [in the Swing Capital of this Swing State], sounds very much like Al Gore losing his home state of TN in 2000. Sort of ominous for McLawyer, IMO...

McBride, well-versed on the needs of schools and exceptionally close to the teacher unions, can be counted on to forcefully highlight shortcomings in the administration's efforts. But Bush can point to results, and the Democrats' education strategy may not be quite the cakewalk they anticipate. A good editorial until this last paragraph. On what do they base the assertion that McBride is "well-versed" on the needs of schools? Is it because he's joined at the hip with the FEA?
To: PogySailor
McLawyer looks and sounds very uninformed on FL public schools.
