I don't believe it.
I want to see some video of these criminals actually leaving...

The new center-right government last week said it plans to reduce immigration by 25 percent in its first year. In addition it said it would make entry into the country without a visa a criminal offense and expel any foreigner_with or without a visa_who commits a crime while in the Netherlands. The new policies reflect the views of slain politician Pim Fortuyn, who opposed immigration and mocked the previous Labor-led government for being out of touch with the Dutch society.
Somewhere, Pim must be laughing! But Knighthawk, see all the posts above about how Bush and his administration aren't doing squat about our borders? We're jealous. Here, the Dems won't shut the borders, those are future Democrats sneaking in, and the Republicans don't seem to give a damn.

Well, maybe I should come over and bring some of Fortuyns ideas with me! I bet a lot of people will like them.

If the Dutch can be convinced to get tough...then its possible that anyone can. There is a God.

Yeah, I know what the policy is, I'm just wondering if Mr. Nawijn is proposing to require visas for everybody visiting Holland, for any reason, or is it more specificly targeted for long-term stays. I wouldn't think he would really intend to have someone from Belgium or Germany go through the same hassle to go there as someone from Iraq.
Heck, I didn't even need a visa to go into North Korea, but that at least was under armed American supervision.

There is no sign of a changed visa-policy. They just want to enforce the excisting rules, something the socialists/liberals never did.

This morning all of them were deported. Yesterday 100, the rest this morning. Only the possible criminals were put under arrest to face charges.
The total number was 211.
