I am an average voter.
And you can understand what he is saying.
Seems to me President Bush is trying to out democat the Democrats.
It only seems that way but we're smart enough to know better.

And as bad as that is, it pales in comparison to the Democrat government sanctioned and funded wholesale slaughter of the most innocent life of all, the murder of innocent human life in the wombThe true Herodians, trading lives for power.
To: TLBSHOW
I agree. Republicans aren't perfect, but we know the Democrats are out to destroy our government and the American way of life. We really better dump Democrts out of office at every level of government.

You don't know if I was exaggerating or not, neither do I. There may be 10's of thousands of Saddams friends out there. There is no way to tell. If you don't think my comments are worth looking at the so be it. Tell me that there are no Saddam supporters in this country illegally. I'll believe you.

BTW if you're onea them Browne peepuls, you're part of the problem, not the solution.Hello?
'Scuse me. I voted for Browne, not so much as I liked him. I knew Bush would win here.
I did not like the way GW was shoved down our throat.
"They" started running him when Laura and the twins said they wanted no part of it.
I forget how many millions he had in his "war chest" before he ever announced. There were a lot of good, strong Republicans that wanted the job.
It seemed "they" made him do it.
No, I don't know who or what "they" is.

OK, so what is Ashcroft doing? What do you want him to be doing?

A vote for a Democrat (for anything OTHER than "guilty of all charges") is an act of treason! Thanks, it was great when PB said the first thing he would say to Clinton is"You have the right to remain silent".

Jim is spot-on, dead-on correct and right on target. I disagree. Democrats are not evil. They are just wrong.

Voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil. Depending on a political party to defeat evil is idolotrous folly.
Voting for libertarians or any other party at this point is voting for the democrats. It is easy to scream about how the republicans are not a party of "Principle" when the libertarian party has never placed one member into congress in its 30 year history. Yes I can lock myself in a room and scream about "Principle" yet that will get me nothing. We need the GOP back in power because if they do not take back the senate this country is sunk and we will see more New Deal programs untill this country goes bankrupt.
I find libertarians to be nothing but a group of selfish oafs who would rather cut off their nose to spite their face.

Oh, Texasforever, I remember now with whom I'm discoursing!
Based on memory of past experience, it won't do any good, but I guess I gotta give ONE response... You wrote this to me:
So in other words you have a self defined concept of what constitutes an "enemy of the constitution or liberty" and when others fail to meet that self-defined concept they are your enemy?
Not sure what "self-defined" (it probably should have a hyphen) means here, but if you mean "...you have a defined (in your head) concept..." then my answer is, what in the world do you mean by others "meeting ... concept?" I can't get my mind around what it means to "meet a concept."
But, if you mean do I have a definition of "Constitution" and "liberty" in my head, yes, I definitely do. Do you? And if you are asking if I consider others who I perceive to be enemies of either of those concepts in my head, based on their words and actions, to be MY enemies, then I anser YES, you got it!
This is a strange conversation! Even for you, TXforever. BTW, deep family roots in TX, always loved TX, may be moving there soon.
To: TLBSHOW
The ONLY evil people in government today are those who circumvent the Constitution.
..and sadly..they come in both types.
Democrats...AND Republican.

The democrat campaign slogan for 2000 was 'A woman's right to choose' ... a serial killer to murder an innocent, unborn individual human being. Okay, I filled in the left-out portion of their slogan, and they left that part out because they knew it wouldn't play well in their lust for manipulation of vulnerable minds/voters. That is patent evil, to consciously put forward a slogan that promotes killing of the innocent and put that slogan forward knowing the portion I filled in.
Yeah, that's evil at work. But are Democrats evil? There is an evil one who uses those lusting for power, who manipulates those who will sell their souls for power. Does that make the 'Faustians' evil also? Here I would agree and disagree with you Jim; if these who allow themselves to be active party with evil do not change their ways, then I wholeheartedly agree they are evil, for they have chosen to serve that master.
Do we have indication in the Iraq debates that these same sellouts are continuing to serve their evil master? Yes, I think we do. Even lil' Tommy daschle realizes that if and when Saddam acquires nukes he will farm them out to terrorists if he sees a way to have them act as his stooges, against the U.S. Yet lil' Tommy continues to politicize the urgency, for the empowerment of his dimocrat minions, to acquire more power in legislative seats (seats that may soon preside over decimated populations in certain regions like coastal areas); the cost in American lives could very well add up to millions, instead of 3000.
Clinton played the same game during his impeachment and it cost 3000 in New York and Washington, the lives of folks on a Navy War ship, numerous people at American embassies ... you get the jist, I'm sure. Clinton is so completely sold out to his lust for power and legacy that he is now the servant of the evil one who sews chaos and murder. As for the abortion history, Clinton vetoed partial birth abortion bans because he cared more for a campaign tweak than the individual human beings being heinously murdered in partial birth abortions. May he rot in Hell eternally. And if lil' Tommy and his power crazed dimocrat minions don't straighten up, their politicization will cost large numbers of American lives also. So, yeah, these bastards are evil, for they serve their evil master who subtly promises them greater leverage to power.
