It certainly does, the latest is that the "unconditional, unfettered inspections" deal applies only to military installations, as reported by the secretary of the Arab League via Rush (and some Brit paper's website). This came out about the time you posted. The war is still on, hopefully sooner rather than later.

But if Saddam unleashes chemical or biological weapons that result in a lot of American casualties, it could be another story

Actually, if that were to happen, it would prove that the war was necessary, after all.
