Any sort of "world government" that infringes national soveriegnty is a threat to freedom, as it is not likely to recognize individual liberty. The United States is the only country in history to be founded on the basis of the guarantee of individual liberty, and the further basis that individual liberty that is not "granted" by a ruling elite, but something that the citizenry intrinsically has a right to.

I agree with William Flax that the "Tranzi" philosophy sounds alot like socialism, though on a global scale.
