The fastest way to Bagdad may be through Lebanon ! The road to Baghdad will likely pass through Kuwait, IMHO.

I keep hoping the U.S. will lease/lend Israel a dozen B-52's to do some ARC LIGHTS on the Bekka Valley where Hizbollah hang out. We should just do it for them. A freebie.

iran has been more prominent than iraq in funding hizbullah. Fine. Bomb Iraq into submission and then bomb Iran into submission. Works for me.

Why haven't WE taken out the Bekaa Vally in OUR 'war on terror'...and give Syria a look at consequences while we are at it.... too much palaver ....swift strikes without warning, repeated until the message is clear...with NO further apology or explanation....let the recipient figure out how to avoid hellfire.... Quite rational.

Yep, Syria and Lebanon need to mend their ways. No question.
I'll wager, however, that following the "Mother of all regime changes" that will take place in Iraq in the near future, these two states will either begin to see the error in their ways or be easily handled militarily. Syria isn't exactly a military power to be reckoned with, and if Syria goes down, Lebanon would cleanse its self and become a model mid-east democracy like it was in the early 70's.
Just IMHO, of course but time will tell. And G-d willing we will all see the this play out in the near future.

IMO, a blood Baath in Iraq is for the benefit of Iran, etc. Leaders and the "street" will watch as thousands of Iraqi government oficials/Republican Guard disappear from history and ponder their immediate futures. Baath Party survivors should be hanged for their crimes.
When we rock the Cradle of Civilization, we (not our allies) need to have in place sufficiently heavy throw weight to dust the theo-fascists. The Chinese will observing closely.
