The two latest polls show Forrester with a
13-point and
11-point lead over Torricelli.

I sent Thune another 50 yesterday Patricia and after watching the debate last night and his opening statement, I may send him more. He is an impressive guy, not your everyday rino weenie, that's for dang sure.

I think I've heard maybe one Dole ad on the radio. Other than that not a peep out of her. Erskine Bowels is ...uh...making more noise than she is.

Over on the NC Freeper thread,
snopercod asked me an interesting & timely question.
I thought I was rather diplomatic about it, but Snyder has my vote for the primary.
Others in the chapter will probably take issue with that. Tough cookies.
To: Overtaxed
Well if people refuse to vote for Dole then they get what they deserve: Bowles.

Guess it depends on what the meaning of "you" is.
To: marajade
Well if people refuse to vote for Dole...Sorry, that's why we have primaries.
If Dole wins the primary (and I am 99 44/100% sure she will), I'll vote for her.
To: Constitution Day
Are you saying this article is inaccurate? It states there will be no primaries in NC.

Well, I took him to mean that he wanted to know who the chapter was endorsing.
To: marajade
Primaries are Sept. 10...there will be no run-offs.
To: marajade
"There will be no runoff primaries as a result."Key word: runoff.
To: Constitution Day
It
was kind of ambiguous...could have been either plural or singular. :)
Wow! Only one meeting and we already have an official endorsement! /sarcasm
To: Constitution Day
my mistake... Dole would make an excellent senator...

I predicted five-seat pickup, surprisingly not so much different from what this data might well lead to.
The information I gave was far more up to date, and instead of just swallowing RAT polls whole, I threw them out or used their demographics to indicate what really WAS likely to happen.
There has been positive news in La. Ga. Ia. Ar. and SD. since I published my thread three days ago.
Not a nuckle head, but CRYSTALK. Remember that name, spell it correctly.

Just trying to be diplomatic in my 'official capacity', OT.
As for myself, well, I tend not to be a shrinking violet. :)
To: marajade
Fair enough.
She would make a better Senator than 'Irksome Bowels', but as far as excellent?
I remain unconvinced.
To: Constitution Day
She beats McCain by a mile... Believe me, it could be a lot worse...

Just trying to be diplomatic in my 'official capacity' Hehehe....diplomacy is not my strong suit.
To: marajade
I'm not sure whether she beats McCain.
McCain has a long voting record on the Hill to refer to.
Dole, OTOH, has never held an elected office.
