Smacks hands, made a mistake, cannot educate people who worship media/courttv. Bad bad bad fingers. Will retreat to the backroom now.

If Westerfield goes free, I predict that Damon Van Damm will be found guilty of his murder.

It's going to be guilty, dear. I live in San Diego. It was either going to be guilty or a hung jury. With a verdict, it's guilty. If not, I'll eat my new hat!

Its your contention that blood evidence has to be "fresh" to be valid?

would you have felt comfortable sentencing him to death? I could have. But if he had testified it was an accident, that would have negated the 1st degree murder rap and he might have walked.
To: AppyPappy
The prosecution must prove beyond a shadow of a doubt. In most states, the standard of proof in a criminal trial is "beyond a reasonable doubt."

A "basically good man" who just happens to get his jollies watching videos of little girls being gang raped.
Yeah right.

LOL! You missed everything! I'm sorry you think it's funny I asked a legitimate question. What is the "everything" that I missed? I know the child's blood, hair and fingerprints were all over the place.

Question to all - Do juries that have been out for 2+ weeks EVER come back guilty? What is the breakdown of not guilty/guilty after long deliberations?

"It was either going to be guilty or a hung jury."
If it was hung, the judge would have been notified and he wasn't.

Saw his face all during the trial, that of an innocent man done wrong just by living near these trash neighbors...
Compare the integrity of that man's face to the Demon and Brenda, that says it all.
Besides the tremendous evidence that he cannot have done it, how did he ever get hold of (1) her alive? To do a crime?
(2) of her dead body 2 weeks later to put it out on Dehesa Road, when he was already under police custody?
And where's the ()^(! motive?

I'm in San Diego as well, and I think it's going to be NOT guilty.
To: crystalk
You think the Police *framed* the DNA evidence?
What about the blood on his jacket that was Danielle's blood?
How about all the fibers?
The man is guilty.
To: Mrs Mark
Kind of like the women on the Menendez jury huh. Insisting the brothers couldn't possibly have shot their mother in the face, reloaded and shot her again. Never mind that the brothers testified to doing just that!!!
To: Freakazoid
, it's guilty. If not, I'll eat my new hat! You better order out for tonight's dinner. You wont be eating your hat.
To: ican'tbelieveit
Well Stan Goldman FNC's legal analyst just stated as such that they found blood evidence on his jacket. Maybe both Stan Goldman and myself are uninformed as to blood evidence.

So, you were an OJ juror!
To: crystalk
I am afraid of this jury, afraid of this police frame-up, afraid of the lynch-mob liberal press.
I came late to the case but about a week or so ago I started reading everything about the trial.
I am convinced DW is NOT GUILTY.

EXCERPT FROM TRANSCRIPT/ARTICLE
My role was to examine the items for the presence of blood," Soriano told Deputy District Attorney George Clarke. "I noted stains on the jacket." Three stains tested positive for the presumptive presence of blood, the criminalist testified. They were on the front right middle, the front right shoulder and the neck portion of the jacket, he said. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/703322/posts?q=1&&page=51
