You can count on the Kansas City Star to continue to carry water for the Carnahan campaign, by picking at this scab all through the election season, both in it's "news" sections and it's editorial pages (they're actually interchangable).
They know that the widder carnahan has been over her head just trying to figure out what she's supposed to do in the Senate, that she has no class and her only claim to fame is her dead husband. For that reason, her fellow democRATs in the press will pull out the "pity the poor widder carnahan" angle at every chance, because they know it is the only way she can get elected.
Not only do the dead vote repeatedly in Missouri, but the rotting corpse of ole Mel Carnahan is out and about campaigning for his widder.

I ccertainly hope a voting record will mean more to voters than sympathy. I hope the voters remember The widow voted against John Ashcroft, a man who chose not to challenge the election of her dead husband.

Any current info on polling data. The last that I saw, a couple weeks ago, had Talent with a slight lead but IIRC it was within the MOE.
