My 2 cents on the negative Townsend press coverage. A Naderite co-worker of mine got very excited about the possibility of Condi Rice running as Bush's running mate in 2004. Despite disagreeing w/ Bush, the GOP and/or conservatives on all issues, he swore vehemently he would vote for the ticket.
My reasoning: socialists are all for "group" rights as opposed to individual rights. Kennedy's choice of a white man for running mate instead of a black person must seem to be a huge act of treason by the types of socialist elitists who write for the Sun and the Post. Hence, the negative coverage.

It appears the Sun forgot to mention her huge mansion in the ultra-rich area of Potomac. Not surprised.Ruxton is pretty much as hoity-toity as Potomac. That was the base she ran from when she ran against Bently for Congress a decade ago. Of course, all her "outside the State" money didnt help her then, and I have my fingers crossed now.

But its her inarticulateness and unfocusness thats killing her right now. Oh.. but the press doesnt love Ehrlich, though. The Sun's cartoonist paints him as an empty suit
Just like everyone else, I'm just waiting for the race-baiting ads to come in the 11th hour, to (maybe) bail her out.

If Fisher is still struggling by the end of September, then you should worry...and I will too.

I live in Calvert County and a few of the KKT signs are starting to pop up. It is surprising that with the supposively big money she has, her signs are quite small. Erhlich/Steele signs are large. I drove through a part of Charles County - upchuck county - along Rt. 5 from Hughsville to Waldorf and did not see one Erhlich sign on the road. Not one KKT sign either but Bob should get some signs out there.
