Yehuda, they're not going to attack you. It's the US who does all the attacking, in the US-Iraq relationship. This is the most bizarre part of the whole beat-up, where despite US force of arms prevailing everywhere, every time, there are people like you deep into these 'we gotta get 'em before they get us!' paranoid fantasies. I'm starting to think it's some kind of attention-seeking device, that gets you in on the action.

Either that, or you work for McDonnell Douglas.

I'm curious Byron. Have you ever served in any military anywhere at any time?
I was a Cold War Warrioir in the Bad Old Days, and my job was making sure that the aircraft I was in control of was Mission capable. Meaning that it was capable of nuking Soviet cities full of civilians and Soviet military targets.
No hard feelings,this was not personal, this was just business, a deadly business but business non-the-less. Me and thousands like me took our jobs seriously and still take it seriously. I make no apologies for my beliefs and I'm not going to play Chicken Little about this current situation anymore than I did in the days past when I worked on the flight line.
If the Commander-in-Chief decides and orders that Saddam and his group of thugs be turned to dust, my response is, AYE AYE SIR! I understand and will obey.
For a non-combatant that probably scares the Bee Jeezus out of you, Tough! It's a very dangerous and unforgiving world out there so be prepared to kill what ever threatens you if you want your blood line to succeed. Lead , Follow or Get Out of the Way!
