The Canadians I have known for years do not share this nasty opinion. Canadians are generally very nice people most of whom foolishly bought into socialism a long time ago. Canadians embraced gun registration which tells you all you need to know about their world view. The government is expected to solve ALL problems, protect and care for everybody north of the U.S./Canada border. A lot of Canadians spend a hell of a lot of time in the United States. I guess those folks don't share the anger of this writer.

Mr. McDougall is a Canadian Frenchman (judging from the twisted syntax in a couple of his sentences and the sheer spleen of his screed). There are only two things that make him irrelevant: one, he is Canadian. Two, he is French.

Speaking of brain-deadening TV, is "La Famille Plouffe" still running up there? And those Canadian Film Board specials? Being forced to spend a few winters (September through June) watching Canadian TV, plus a few too many Bradors, could well account for this moosebrain's prose.

So who is this McDougall guy anyway? Why are we getting all bent out of shape over the ravings of some idiot?

First, it is called back bacon, not "round bacon."

(I happen to be married to a wonderful Canadian woman.)

Second, the reason why the Washington Post has not printed this is because of the profanity, for one, and the acute stupidity that makes Post staffers look like Stephen Hawking, for another.

I am just wondering why this was mentioned in the first place, if not to create unnecessary strife with the Canadian people. I mean, clearly, with all the rhetoric mixed in with the factual errors, this guy has no idea what he is talking about.

This is not a mega-barf alert. This is too funny to throw up about.

The most honest and conscientious political leader in the country, Ralph Nader

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

This article is the ravings of a left-wing loonie. Remember, not all, in fact very few Canadians feel this way about the USA. You guys still like Mark Steyn, don't you? The author of this letter is a complete idiot first, and Canadian second.

This is one Canuck who DOESN'T support gun registration, because I believe that property rights are absolute, and so is the right to protect your life and everything you have and have worked for, and to be capable of it. I also would almost prefer rule by biker gangs over the gang of criminals in Parliament right now. Lord knows how I turned out that way in the North American cradle of socialism, but I did.

Two suggestions for Mr. McDougall:

1.) Get back on your meds. Fast!

2.) Bite me!

I bet most Canadians would slap this ass till his kids were dizzy!

We have an antique shop in Central New York State - about three hours from Canada. Over the years we've met Canadian dealers looking for merchandise and also Canadian tourists. Great people! They sure didn't talk like the man who wrote the column. And we travel to Canada often and enjoy our stay every time.

The liberal-social cancer is like an Alcoholic, it has the inability to see it is diseased and inflicted with a serious ailment.

CLOSE THE BORDERS!!! Truncate the damaged North and South and let the cancer die it's own demise. Anyone caught tring to cross the border will be "shot" without warning by American Soliders patrolling the borders. No questions, no judgement, just "sniper" fire.

Legal Canadians, Mexicans, and Immigrants will still, as alwyas, be encouraged to enter this country through legal means and appropriate processes.

Never mind that earth-friendly technology already exists to once and for all end dependence on oil, coal and nuclear energy from huge, out-of-control utilities and corporations.

Wow it took one sentence for this author to discredit himself.

This Stalinist clap-trap could have been written by American haters from any country - including our own. Let's not do the usual "hate Canada" routine because of the sins of ONE of its citizens...

As a Canadian I could go on and on about the sheeple of Canada and it wouldn't be as tedious as this crap.)

How many fallacies did he commit in this letter anyway?

At the same time, you stand by as the Israelis' secular Zionists--whom you support through the supply of arms and money--slaughter untold numbers of innocents in the West Bank, then blame the Palestinians for bringing the terror upon themselves. (True, there are abominable Arab suicide bombers in Israel's midst. But are they not driven to madness and desperation by your infernal support of international terrorist politics?)

This paragraph was the first tipoff. But there was something else.

Your whole economy is controlled by what is for the most part ravenous, international private banking interests in the form of The Federal Reserve, which with your government's consent leads you down the garden path to certain financial ruin thanks to a national debt you will never be able to repay.

Then there was this...

These very same money men are the ones who, through unmonitored and unrepresentative world committees, are driving countries like Argentina into hopeless debt and social upheaval. These greedy overlords are creating strife and suffering on a scale too tragic for words in nation after nation. Just look at Africa.

They've got their sights on America, now, too; disrupting economic stability through so-called free trade initiatives and provisions for special favors and the endless flow of cash to corporate monstrosities like Enron.

You all should know what this is all about by now, if you have some perception of history.

The very effing minute someone starts going on about Zionists and "International Banking Interests" in the same piece of work, this picture should enter your head...

That's right, folks. The Eternal Jew.

Don't think I'm going on. I can smell this kind of stuff out. This guy is a Naderite and an anti-Globalist. This is the kind of ass-clown who turned up at Durban, South Africa. You know, where they gave a Hitler Youth Rally and a U.N. International Conference on Racism broke out?

This guy's screed is pure fuhrerprinzip; back to nature, back to the environment, back to the Noble Savage: Man as he Should Be.

Strip away the anti-Americanism, which is par for the course for the Canadian Left (indeed, with a significant plurality of the Canadian population), and you have this...

The ONE thing you can count on from "progressives" around the world is the ONE thing they have in common, be they Nazi , Communist, or Socialist. A latent hatred of the Jew.

They're brownshirts. All of them.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

What can I say, I bought it because my wife wanted it. She won't let me split a measly U235 atom in my workshop but she's willing to split a perfectly good standard keyboard.

"Go get your ten-billionth burger, America."

Believe I will, thanks

"The most honest and conscientious political leader in the country, Ralph Nader"

Uh-huh. This one phrase sums up this entire babbling screed. God Bless our true Canadian allies & patriots like coteblanch and others.
