"I watched enough of the mess to know that the messengers were so totally weird and out of the mainstream that even CNN probably won't show much of them." Then how do you explain the fact that this story got top billiing on the cable news networks, including Fox, yesterday and full coverage on C-SPAN? They love this garbage.

"Where'd they get this idiot?" He's a real piece of work isn't he? Time to stop mollycoddling morons, regardless of race, and spank them soundly and sent them to their rooms till they grow up....like that's ever likely to happen.

"I bet few would take that offer." In the first place, we are the only country in the world that I know of that indiscriminantly allows all sorts of people to invade our borders, so chances are that few nations would take them. And in the second place, even assuming there were nations that would take them, they would have to sacrifice their whining rights and most of this riff raff would never go for that.

You and your friend make valid points. The bottom line is that it isn't about slavery at all, it's about getting their grubby hands on more taxpayer money while all the while supporting the party of higher taxes.

I saw that gathering. On C-Span. There were maybe 500 people present. All of them looked like freaks because of those stupid african ribbons and rags.
In the beginning, the reparations movement only wanted money. But they've been watching the Palestinians, and so now they also want land. Based on what, I wonder?
Pretty soon they'll put on some masks and headbands, strap their bodies with bombs, and explode themselves in crowded public places.
Won't be long now....!

"For those in the L. Farrakahn group, it would read; May I suggest a big ole piece of ocean out west of California."
With a leaky ship to cross it in.

Well, Commander, we learn something new everyday. Thank you. I know if you put "Anthony Johnson" into a search engine you come up with some very interesting results; including, but not limited to, a hit from PBS. Try it, you won't be disappointed....

I guess what I meant was, the speakers were so obviously nuts that it would be hard to find sound bytes that would help their cause, and not damage it. I read the liberal rag the St Petersburg Times yesterday, and sure enough, they found them. I am going to write them a letter asking them why they didn't quote Barron instead of Conyers.
