When I was in high school the people who lived behind us had 19 children, 17 were from first marriages and two were together. I remember being amazed at the food they went through, something like four loaves of bread, and four dozen eggs a day.
They did live on a two acre lot however and had six and a half baths.

My Dad's boss had fourteen children, my family and I loved to go on picnics with them. Never a dull moment, and amazingly they didn't fight like cats and dogs.
I could never figgure out how they afforded it all, but somehow they managed. I really envy a large family.
