Are you saying that Neocons have a Right to Jewish support? That Jews OWE the Neocons their vote? That sounds like the Democrats saying black and gay voters must vote Dem, or be Uncle Toms. Despicable racial jerrymandering is what I'd call that.

Paul Gottfried over at Elizabethtown College is an excellent Jewish paleo writer. I wish there were many more at his side.

Sometimes I think WE are our very BEST enemy!

WE...on the right, have promulgated MOST of the convenient 'labels' the Left now, so liberally (sic) uses.

We dissect ourselves to death........and then sit back and whine when "they" use our OWN crayons to color us our various hues.

I look at a lot of folks with such a suspicious eye. As time progresses, those in opposition to Bush, both on the left and right will begin to converge in their criticism.

"Will begin?" No, my friend. It already has occurred. Sometimes you don't know when you read something without seeing the author's name first if it's Noam Chomsky or Pat Buchanan who wrote it. They fail to realize that when they do this that they are playing on the same team.

I will say this, to their credit, I haven't seen too much of this from the Keysters or McCaniacs.

Well, thank God for small favors, eh? ;-)

You go, boy!

And thanks for admitting that you're doing nothing but whining with such a reply. You've been helpful, in an amusing sort of way.

Thanks for turning out in LA. Bush did really well there, especially in the wealthy Hollywood areas where he picked up so much support while fundraising. The LA neocon community sure played a huge role helping Bush win CA.

I did my part, though I don't think of myself as a neo-Con, just a plain old Conservative. :) And with the election so close in Florida, it could be argued that without the Jewish votes Bush did get there, and he did get some, Gore would be in the WH. ;)

Let's not forget the Gore voters who accidentally voted for Pat Buchanan on the butterfly ballots. Credit where credit is due. :)

I don't think I'd say they're playing on the same team so much as playing against the same team. There are only so many ways to criticize someone. It's logical they would both settle on many of the same methods.

How is it you know so much about me after two days here? And I did not correct your spelling. Dighton did.

Care to take up the torch of RDB3's paleo vs libertarian hair-splitting?

He's doing just fine without my help. ;)

To be just a bit more accurate, Reagan repudiated the Chicago School, who were monetarists, in favour of The Wall St Journal School. The supply siders, led by Kemp, Ture,Bartley and Art Laffer.Milton Friedman had a fit, but he and his bunch were proven wrong.

There is not a drop of the paleo in anything to with libertarian economics. The paleo hasn't got beyond the demand side models of James Tobin circa 1972, but to be more accurate, I doubt got further than anything that Ike did.In fact, the paleo knows nadda about economics, which is shame, as I have found that debating them here on FR, they don't seem to mind being so ignorant about so little they know ;-)

Libertarian economics are half of paleo-conservatism. Social conservatism is the other half.

Oh. So that's the mixture to form this potion. I see.

You're a real granfalloonery enthusiast...military, linux [sic], neocolonialism, err, neoconservatism. post-conservatism.

There. Much better.

As for me being an "enthusiast," yes I am. I speak conservatism with hope and a smile, not by beating others over the head and looking down my nose.

I'm from the 'hood, too, after all.

I served in the Eighty-Deuce with patriotism, pride, and dignity.

Linux? I'm an ice-kold Penguin. And this is not a bandwagon seeing that software development is my business.

Finally, where is your evidence that www.adlwatch.org is anti-semitic? That's a pretty serious charge to make based on nothing.

The term "anti-Semitic" never came from me. You mentioned it. Your paranoid side is showing.

Evidence? Your linking a site which talks about the Jewish lobby speaks for itself. Speaking against left-wing Jews is one thing, but that took it to a whole different level.

See ya, paleo. Relish in it.
