DITHF - is usually used now as an admonition to be suspicious or not so impressed or gullible regarding someone's claims. It is a reference to a FReeper using the screen name "Deep In The Hurtgen Forest". DITHF presented himself as a serviceman stationed in Germany, and posted many in-the-know "letters to home" type writings that were quite convincing. Eventually, though, due to some observant FReepers, some inconsistencies were noticed and revealed and DITHF was exposed (and, as I recall, confessed) as fake.

That was an ugly fraud and Freeper "Sneakypete" proved his courage under fire for exposing it. Connie "CAL" led the mob-like assault against "Pete", if I do recall.

Sorry if I offended you or misunderstood what you are saying. However I'm not a cry baby, just a fed up Freeper...sick to death of being attacked by Bots on issues that they refuse to discuss because they consider it anti Bush. I think Bush should be questioned. When he out Democrats a Democrat, something smells. I supported him, I voted for him but I refuse to put blinders on. Buchanan is looking better and better...ditto Keyes. But to be put down because you think so is usually only done by a BOT. If you aren't then I apologize. I decided that I was NOT going to take it anymore. ITs gone on too long. I'll flag Jim everytime someone thinks an independent thinker should be banned and removed. A Bot is anyone who worships the Republican of choice, despite his actions and their effect on this country. I think Bush has made many bad decisions. A bot refuses to even consider the reasons or case made and calls you names just because you are concerned about the direction he is taking us in. To me, that is a Bot. :O0 The ones who trouble me are the Bots who call for our censure just because we have a problem with a given action. Rather than dispute, site FACTS to back up their position, they merely degrade and personally attack. After one totally vicious attack I decided enough was enough. I either have to leave or insist the Bots stop that behavior.

As to debate...I have to tell you with due respect Miss Marple, I have yet to hear a rebut to CFR, Immigration: 245i, Patriot's Act, Homeland Security, Tipps, Big spending? All I hear are lame excuses like...its about politics or he's trying to gain votes. Need he sell out my freedom to gain votes? Is that why I supported him in the first place? I've been called stupid, illiterate, mentally ill and a liar by people who dislike me because I do not care for Alan Keyes. I have had people make derogatory comments of a sexual nature (which were immediately pulled) to me for the same reason.

I don't know why you feel singled out. Bush supporters aren't treated any better than you are. You may be more respectful than some (although I noticed you aren't shy about hurling a few epithets yourself), but it happens to everyone. Maybe you just need a thicker skin.
