A moderator heads up.
Hmm...my first posting from Netscape 6. I haven't used Netscape for awhile and I think I messed things up. There may be multiple posts and it was supposed to go to Front Page not Breaking.
Maybe it was Netscape or maybe I just hit the wrong buttons. It sure took a LONG time to post. I thought my machine was locked.
Has anyone else had trouble posting with Netscape 6?

"with a spread of white lilies on his desk"
Why do I have the notion that the lilies are significant?
Y'know, I'm pretty tired of all the "talking tough" rhetoric that comes out of Iraq - - a third-world country with a despot at its head...the sad thing is that a large part of his uneducated population DO believe themselves indestructable - Boy are they in for a surprise!

In Baghdad, the Iraqi National Assembly spouts hot air after it
declared "Down with America", even wrote it on the ground.
Did any of the US media report
their call for war? I doubt it.
To: GVNR
didn't think Lilies grew in Iraq.

The plant life in Iraq must prosper with all the s**t spewing from Insanes mouth...

In his speech, Saddam did not mention America and Britain by name, but referred to them as the "forces of evil">blinks<

This bunch is comprised of nothing but blowhards and total cowards. The only thing they they are capable of is sending hundreds or thousands of mind dead Allah-bots to their deaths.

That stood out in my mind too. Tqo questions: 1) What is the significance of white in their culture and 2) the significance of lilies.
In Western culture they both symbolize purity and/or resurrection. Wonder if Saddam is suggesting that he's ready to take us on?

Hey, I get first dibs on some of those swivel chairs after US Special Forces take that building and rounds everyone up for the Guantanamo Special Express and before the GAO starts tagging the furniture!

"The forces of evil will carry their coffins on their backs to die in disgraceful failure," he said in the televised speech. Haven't we heard this kind of talk from Saddam before? I guess we might have to have one of those mother-in-law-of-all-battles again.
Bet ol' Saddam hides himself 14 levels underground this time too.
To: savedbygrace
Question is, whether he has any six year old British boys to hold hostage as 'human shields' and stroke the top of their heads on TV like a nice uncle.
Uncle Sodom.
To: prisoner6
Anyone who attacks Iraq will die in "disgraceful failure," Iraqi President Saddam Hussein said...From the man who brought you the mother of all surrenders...
To: AmericanInTokyo
Hey, you'd better be careful with talk like that. The prevailing winds from Baghdad head straight toward YOU.
Of course, the fallout will dissipate a great deal before they reach you. <g>

the Iraqi National Assembly spouts hot air after it declared "Down with America", even wrote it on the ground. yeah they surely mean it; they wrote it in chalk.
To: GVNR
Do you really think the average Iraqi citizen thinks they can beat the U.S.? I think they understand that they don't have a chance.
To: savedbygrace
I HATE when that happens! ;-)
To: demlosers
Actually, it is a demonstrative seminar on the proper usage of Iraqi indoor 'plumbing' and how to maintain one's center of balance when taking a dump.

He must have heard that Clowntoon was going to be personally fighting.

What? No American flag burnings? Things must be pretty bad in Baghdad if they can't even find an American flag to burn.
