Bernard can come up with all the questions in the world. Imus will talk about the ranch and give Lieberman a complete pass.

It's been month's since the Enron scandle, can you tell our audience why Rubin has not been called to testify before the Senate Investigative Committee?

Straight and to the truth? Too much for the liberals?

NNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAA!

There have been a number of politico's who have hung themselves on Imus. Imus has a knack for getting politicians to make a fool of themselves.

Hard hitting, total grilling by Imus...

IMUS: So, Joe, what do you think about me and my brother's photo book?

- OR -

IMUS: So, Joe, do you want to buy a copy of me and my brother's photo book?

Barnard writes great questions.

Imus reads them.

Holy Joe will hem and haw.

Imus will give him a pass.

Did you see/hear Imus this morning? He asked McCainiac a great Bernard question about Daschle cutting a deal to exempt SD from enviro wacko suits.

McCain defended Dashole, hemmed and hawed and Imus gave him a pass.

BTW, don't forget to buy some salsa/chips/coffee/clothing/books, etc.

I did buy that Flatlanders CD in the hope he would just shutup about it. It's not bad.

Senator, do you get paid any royalties when a Droopy Dog cartoon is aired?

After what Leiberman did to him after he got on the Democrat ticket, the fact that Imus still talks to him makes me very doubtful that he'll do anything but what he always does in situations like this. Ask the "tough question", let the person filibuster for a few minutes, and then say "well, that makes sense" and move on. He does it all the time.

Tomorrow Lieberman's ass is grass.

Imus doesn't have to make Lieberman look like a fool, we all know Lieberman has taken care of that himself.

Senator Lieberman, as an influential member of our government and as an American Jew, why have you (and why do you think senators such as Boxer, Feinstein, Schumer as well) not spoken out more forcefully on the genocide being practiced on the Jewish state by Hamas, et al.?

Perhaps he should ask the same question that the Washington Times asked in their editorial today - Rubin, Lieberman and Lay

It's at:

http://www.washtimes.com/op-ed/20020801-83984596.htm

Here's the essence of it:

What precipitated Mr. Rubin's Nov. 8 call? Did an increasingly desperate Mr. Lay, who had offered Mr. Rubin, a longtime friend, a seat on Enron's board in May, call the Citigroup rainmaker? After all, on Oct. 26, Mr. Lay called Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, who, a Fed spokesman said, "did nothing in response to the call because it would have been inappropriate." On Oct. 29, Mr. Lay called Commerce Secretary Don Evans and asked him to intercede with the credit-rating agencies. The day before, he called Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill seeking help. The Enron CEO struck out with both Cabinet members. Meanwhile, Enron President Lawrence Whaley had called Mr. Fisher six to eight times, inappropriately beseeching him to call Enron's bankers and recommend that they loan Enron more money. On Nov. 8, Mr. Lay again called Mr. O'Neill. Again, no luck. Did he then call Mr. Rubin? Also, why did Mr. Rubin pressure Mr. Fisher to do something that Messrs. Greenspan, Evans and O'Neill all rightly refused to do?

In late November, Enron's credit rating was about to be lowered again, this time to junk status, thus jeopardizing its merger with Dynegy, the consummation of which would have forestalled Enron's imminent bankruptcy. Did Mr. Lay ask Mr. Rubin to place a call to Moody's, which Mr. Rubin did, to prevent the eventual merger-destroying downgrade?

Imus can be effective when he reads Bernard's questions. Has anyone notice that Imus always sticks up for the president? (Even during that time when Rush was on the attack for months & opened the door for Democrats to attack, Imus never did.)

I think Imus asked Bernard to prepare some questions. But Imus does support Bush. Sometimes I'm not sure what he's doing (I haven't been listening very long). For example, I remember him interrupting Kerry so that he could talk about "poopy" with his son. Was that a comment on what Kerry was saying, or just some disgusting fatherly devotion?
I certainly preferred the"poopy" talk to what Kerry was saying. :-)

Lieberman, McCain, Kerry.

Imus' three stooges, repeated ad nauseum. He needs to get a clue as to how lame that is.
