"Blanton admits the Phipps campaign made mistakes. Where have we heard that before? That's getting almost as worn as "at the end of the day."

Meg Scott has politics in her BLOOD.....everybody in her family has been in politics for as long as I can remember.
She KNOWS how the game is played.
She's a crook and needs to go to jail.

While I agree something smells in DENMARK....on this one
My memory is that the biggest sum of contributions
came from Strates Shows whch has had sweetheart deal with the state Ag departmnent for over 50 years.
They didn't get the contract. Lots of unhappy D party regulars on that one. Note her party has turned on her.
Do you really belive its because they have scrupples and are
principled ?
She was fined for not reporting some of her receipts and for loaning money to a competiter in the race to assist in retireing a campaign debt.
She has a bigger problem in the selection of an operator of a year round cable car ride to be built at the fairgrounds.
That one is tied to contributions. With lame reasoning for not picking a more competitive bid with more experience.
The firm was dissed because most of the over 17 or so cable systems they operate are on the side of mountains all over
the world. While the "winning' operator has run horizontal
cable car operation at an amusment park. I assure you the mountain systems is more critical and requires much more expertise then the horizntal system.

After all that scandal about the DMV a couple years back, I don't expect any Democrat to get punished for anything that they do in this state.

Was the mountgain cable car firm the one in charge of the cable car system in the NC Mountains this weekend that had 2 accidents?
It is interesting to watch the Dems turn on one of their own. It makes you wonder just how much under the table campaign money was coming from Strates to the Dem coffers!!! Or is it just injured "good old boy pride" that is causing this attack on poor Meg Scott?
One wonders.
It almost has the appearance of a Mafia Family seeking revenge from an upstart breaking into their "territory".
And the Demoncrats are the equivalent of a Mafia family - so if the shoe fits.....

Looks like Her Megness is in trouble with the Feds. Hehehe
I could start with the heifer jokes, but I think I'll show some self-restraint today. :)
To: wimpycat
Oh, I don't know.
Now that the Feds are involved we may see a different outcome.

"Her Megness" - ROFL!!! That's hilarious.
And the heifer jokes... what can I say. You're bad.
To: Constitution Day
Well I could do the sow jokes! :)
