I'm thinking the sworn statements that were totally false might be the easiest to prove. And in any event, the heaviest penalties would have to kick in after execution--doubt it would get that far if perjury is in play--and I think it is.

Ok, let's clear up this house buying story if it's false. This press release was given to Jameson (source)--if anyone has found any public records that say differently, please post them. Otherwise, we can put this ugly story to rest!

The suggestion that Brenda and Damon van Dam recently purchased a costly new home is just one more outrageous fabrication originating from a local entertainment show. The fact is that they have not purchased a new home. Continued profiteering via the propagation of this and similar baseless rumors, treated as fact, is a disgrace to the memory of Danielle and an abominable assault on human beings already suffering the ultimate tragedy.

Certainly neighbors have said so, and Feldman complained about it in the court session yesterday. I'm still waiting for the transcripts for that session to appear on the U-T site, but that is certainly his claim.
