Breaking...I searched and didn't see this yet.

I have been looking if anybody had posted an article about the cop being groped by the man. thanks for posting

You can tell this is all hogwash.
The father who says he was beaten too has prior convictions for what?....Attacking cops.
The 16 yo grabbed the cop's testicles, that's when he got slapped.

Right, the cameraman is a setup. Savage was suspicious yesterday, too.

"After his hands were cuffed, Jackson was able to reach out and grab my client's testicles," he said. "And on that occasion the punch was seen in order to make that activity cease."
Ouch! And now ya know the rest of the story ..

He is a witness and we need him to authenticate the tape recording, otherwise its value in court would be greatly diminished," Anyone that was present can authenticate the tape. The only things that really need authentication are the time and day. The rest speaks for itself -- unless some lawyer wants to stupidly argue that the tape doesn't represent the events in question. I'd like to see the judge's reaction to that. Argument: sustained; Credibility: destroyed.

The kid was a jewel thief!!!
To: socal_parrot
It was already posted
here, but not as breaking, which it deserves. I like this writeup better anyway.

It doesn't have the grasp that the other one has.

They still haven't come up with a reason for lifting the kid off his feet and slamming his head on the trunk so hard he bounced.

"After his hands were cuffed, Jackson was able to reach out and grab my client's testicles," he said. "And on that occasion the punch was seen in order to make that activity cease." For the life of me, I can not figure out why this attorney would absolutely destroy his own credibility here. Anyone who has seen the tape knows this is a lie. Not to mention the fact that is someone does grab one's testicles, the natural reaction is to pull back away from the person, and use hands/arms to get them to release. Perhaps THEN I would smack someone, but only after a few seconds. Further, no other officers reacted.

Anyone who has seen the tape knows this is a lie. You say it is a lie because the policeman didn't respond as you expected?
To: John Jorsett
True...but maybe we should test all police officers from now on.
We should have someone kick, grab, or yank the family jewels of all prospective cops. Passing scores will be given to all those who act indifferently.
To: 1L
I've seen the tape several times and see no reaction by the officer to indicate he just had his "bidness" grabbed. You're right, he doesn't move back, which is what I would believe would be the reflex.
To: John Jorsett
The idiot was screaming like a little baby saying "help me" when he was justly arrested. He is nothing more than a media whore trying to use people like you that see abusive cops in your dreams and behind the next door.
To: AppyPappy
You say it is a lie because the policeman didn't respond as you expected? Are you saying that (a) the other cops would do nothing while the arrestee attacked a fellow cop, and (b) that the attacked cop would not react in any sort of defensive manner?
The LAPD union needs to spring for a better breed of attorney--the guy the cop hired is just pathetic.

Maybe I'm too used to Clinton-speak but the attorney will come back with "I said that he was *able* to do it, not that he *did* do it" when this is shown to be laughable.
