DOES PRESIDENT BUSH ENDORSE HALLIBURTON ACCOUNTING PRACTICES?
President Bushs Comments on Cheney Halliburtion Matter Undermine Efforts Against Corporate Corruption
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, raised concerns today that President Bushs comments in support of Vice President Cheneys role in the Halliburton controversy could not only undermine government and private efforts to root out corporate corruption, but could be construed as an endorsement of Halliburtons business practices. Judicial Watch, on behalf of Halliburton shareholders, is suing Vice President Cheney and Halliburton over alleged stock fraud. During a press conference yesterday, President Bush said that Vice President Cheney is a fine business leader and that an ongoing Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) investigation will clear the Vice President of any wrongdoing concerning Halliburton.
The President is effectively saying that Halliburton did everything by the book, while the evidence shows that it has not. And by endorsing his Vice Presidents business behavior, President Bush undermines his own purported concerns about corporate scandal. The effect of the Presidents words is Go after Enron. Go after WorldCom. But stay away from Vice President Cheney. The hypocrisy is apparent, stated Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman.

Hey, look at 3122 everybody - a new press release!
And further proof that Larry doesn't have a clue!
To: Howlin
Just to be accurate, one of these poor idiots that Larry conned into being his stooge, bought their stock in November of 2001, the other in February of 2002, and yes, it is their job to do their own research.
Their claim is that the accounting change inflated the stock price for the years after 1998, thus they paid more than they should have and this change is just now being "brought to light" by Larry.
Thus the lie, since the change was disclosed. Apparantly Halliburton failed to send a press release to Larry and Larry King so they must have done something wrong.
It's the world we live in. Everything is somebody elses fault. Lawsuit Larry is dead set on reinforcing that belief.

No iron and no ironing board please.
No one straightens their hair like that anymore.
It's called a blow dryer, round boar brush, and Redken straightening balm.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Baloney.
To: Amelia; Howlin
LOL! Now THAT I'd pay to see.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Nobody uses Redken anymore, for goodness sake. It's so common.
To: Howlin
I do. It's cheaper than Aveda and works just as well, IMHO.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Did you just finish writing that?
Klayman is such a fool.
To: Howlin
Of course not. Someone else much more talented and intelligent that I finished writing that, I am sure.
To: Howlin
I meant, "then".
To: Amelia
Where is the big VICTORY headline?
To: Howlin
I meant, "than".
To: FreedominJesusChrist
while the evidence shows that it has notWhat EVIDENCE does Larry have?
To: Amelia
And further proof that Larry doesn't have a clue! And, I take it, you do? LOL
To: FreedominJesusChrist

To: Howlin
Well obviously he is not going to go broadcasting his evidence to the public.
To: Mo1
Then don't read them.
