This country is collectively - and now, apparently all the way to the top - behaving like a bunch of frightened mice. The correct response to the 9/11 episode, for an Empire such as ours, dealing with the barbarian Arabs, would be to see to it that their actions produce *exactly* the *opposite* result of that which they intended:

1. The complete elimination of Palestine and the forced dispersal of the Palestinian people into the neighboring Arab states,
2. The overthrow by force of ALL of the Arab governments in the Middle East which are in support of Islamic fundamentalism,
3. The guarantee of Israel's permanent existence in the Middle East.

We should be sending a message to the Arabs that al-Quaida, and the Arabs by their tolerance - much less support - of Al-Quaida, have ended up causing to happen, by our response, exactly the opposite of that which they were trying to accomplish by attacking us. That is the only message which these infantile barbarians on the fringe of the Empire are capable of understanding, and for us to acquiesce and give them a Palestinian State is therefore exactly the oppositeof the correct response.

If, in the aftermath of 9/11, Bush rewards the Pile-of-slime-ians with a sovereign State under any circumsatances, he is an absolute idiot.

Larry was invited onto that show as a COMMENTATOR on MIDDLE EAST FOREIGN POLICY. What do you think commentators are paid and invited onto TV shows to do? Comment on current events and speculate--it's CALLED the art of being pundit.

Do you believe that being a commentator is something otherwise? Please enlighten me to this lost art then.

Yasser Arafat had the overwhelming support of his people. Shouldn't that tell people on this forum something? Especially since Arafat is a TERRORIST?!

I loved the President's speech. He put all of the Arabs in a Machiavellian bind. He took the Palestinians off the table with the Saudi's, which they were using to deflect attention away from their financial support of those out to kill us (and all of the American Lefties have been working to help them with that ploy). He will save us lots of foreign aid to the Palestinians when they reelect Arafat, and to boot, he's washed his hands of the play-like (remember that childhood phrase?) U.S. involvement in a 'peace' process with ARAFAT, a lifetime murderer of anyone who gets in his way, Jew or not.

"He put all of the Arabs in a Machiavellian bind."

For a second, you sounded like Dan Quayle. But don't you consider it a STRONG possibility that President Bush told the Palestinians "no Arafat" because he probably would have been re-elected anyway? It is pretty sad that he would have to tell them to not re-elect a KNOWN TERRORIST back to office.

What a crock!!! Bush had already accepted a Pali state before 9/11. Powell made a speech about it on 9/11.

"Translation: Jumped the gun?"

Translation: I wouldn't want to be living next to a Palestinian state either. But then again, America doesn't have to live next to them, Israel does.

"Larry's expertise is in foreign policy. He'll tell you that himself."

Question: Has Larry Klayman ever actually claimed to be an expert in Middle East Foreign Policy?

Question: Was Larry Klayman INVITED as a GUEST on that TV program to comment on this current Middle East Dilemma, or did he invite himself?

Question: Oh, he didn't invite himself? He was invited by the network to comment on foreign policy?

Question: Then aren't you bashing the wrong person here, especially since Klayman was INVITED ONTO the show as a GUEST?

Question: Do TV commentators often speculate on what impacts certain proposed public policies will have in the future? Isn't that part of being a TV COMMENTATOR?

Thank-you.

We all know that Powell is a blatant One-Worlder.

Wich one is he though. The one world confederation started with Soviet confinement of the US by the launch of sputnik, tipping rockets with nukes. Which world is Powell for? One in which world law enforcement with nukes is accepted, or one in which we simply give up?

Hey, you always bait me for being 20, but if you are a big DC Talk fan, you can't possibly be over 25. If so, it could be that you are an adult who still thinks that Carmen is cool too. LOL!

Powell was a member of either the Trilateral Commission or the Council on Foreign Relations, or maybe both. Either way, it is not a resume qualification in my humble opinion for being a conservative.

Here ya go http://www.cnn.com/2001/US/10/02/gen.mideast.us/

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush said Tuesday that a Palestinian state was always "part of a vision" if Israel's right to exist is respected. He said the two parties needed to get to work "on the Mitchell process" which he said provides a clear path to solving the crisis in the Middle East.

He refused, when asked, to say whether he had been prepared to announce his support for a Palestinian state prior to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on Washington and New York.

The president's statement at a meeting with congressional leaders, follows news that the administration is considering a series of high-profile steps related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to secure much-needed Arab support for the international coalition against terrorism.

State Department and other senior administration officials told CNN on Monday that drafts of a major policy speech on the Middle East, to be delivered by U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, are circulating in the State Department for review.

Officials said the speech will "clarify its [U.S.] views on an end result" of the peace process, which would lead to the eventual "creation of a Palestinian state."

Powell works phones again to push for "substantive" Mideast talks LIMA, Sept 10 - US Secretary of State Colin Powell said late Monday he hopes high-level Israeli-Palestinian talks will make progress toward achieving a ceasefire. "It is important for these two gentlemen to talk to each other and not just have a meeting without results with a press opportunity later where there is no progress," Powell said from Lima, where he is participating in an Organization of American States meeting. I could not get the rest of the article, but I still cannot find the whole thing where there was a planned speech or actualy speech by Powell at the UN recognizing the state of Palestine. I am still looking.

I expect people who are asked to COMMENT on policy, NOT to engage in YELLOW JOURNALISM and WORD-MONGERING, but Larry just can't pass up the opportunity to be SPECTACULARLY WRONG.

Perhaps, in light of the recent problems encountered by DIONNE WARWICK and taking into account Larry's pre-disposition for FORTUNE-TELLING, he could inquire into taking the available spot as SPOKESPERSON for the PSYCHIC FRIENDS NETWORK.

BTW, tell Larry that there is a JUDICIAL CRISIS in the US, thanks to Tom Daschle and Company's BLOCK of President Bush's CONSERVATIVE JUDICIAL BENCH NOMINATIONS, and that his COMPLETE LACK of RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION, and press releases critical of the DEMOCRATS on this or any other subject is quite noticeable.

I guess Larry doesn't want to UPSET his DONOR BASE.
