I was reading just today about the forced prostitution problem in Kosovo. Looks like the Mob is so powerful there, and the police are bought off by the mob, that it's a very dangerous place for women. The issue of brothers killing there sisters for disgracing the family does happen.

FWIW, there are women in high positions in the UK trying to get the British forces to stay on.
