Once again, it's much easier for them to blame others than to look in the mirror.

I would love to see the truancy rates in these "F" schools. I have a feeling they would tell the real story

You can always count of the NAACP to blame lack of motivation on racial factors.

After which chemistry test that a black student fails, is slavery or class size NOT to blame? When will the person themslves be to blame?

The NAACP staged a two-front attack on Florida's education system Wednesday, accusing the state of discriminating against minority students and vowing to take action to stop it

This is purely related to the upcoming elections. Like all the other Dim crutches,it has nothing to do with schools OR children, and everything to do with playing the puppets strings to get them to vote for you. The DNC has let loose their "dawgs",and like all good dawgs, they are obeying their masters.

If Bubba Bush and the RNC had the courage of the cowardly lion, they would take away the tax-free status of the NAACP and desiginate them as a political lobby group. I ain't holding my breath on this one, though. Bubba-2 is more likely to use taxpayer money to buy every black in America a new Lexus than he is to stand up to them. "No balls at all!" should be his motto.

You think it is President Bush who revokes non-profit status?

You DO want a dictator, don't you? More Government?

When a student fails a test it is not slavery which is to blame. It is the lack of slaving over a chemistry book and class notes which is to blame.

Re: NAACP: State Bias Harms Black Students

Here is a truth the headline fails to acknowledge: any school district in FL, right now, has the full legal authority and power to make class sizes whatever they want, as does any principal. The "state" is not the sole authority nor the only authority on class size. Local school districts in FL have a lot of power.

BTW, I don't think the NAACP has as much support in FL as it did at one time. Incidents like the one below, which took place in CA not FL, but happen here in FL as well, make whites, especially teachers, a lot less enthusiastic about the NAACP:

When the head of the NAACP is a felon who served time in the pen, why would anyone want to listen. He also spawned illegitimate kids who no doubt are living off of the taxpayers of the country. Then, he goes forward as the savor of his race?

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

The sad part is that the "class size amendment" will probably pass due to ignorance, and virtually bankrupt education. Hey, what do you expect from the people who passed a net ban that devestated the commercial fishing industry and passed an amendment for a High Speed Rail system that was just going to profit an (already)wealthy businessman.
