'Millions' of Blacks to Rally in DC for Reparations

What a perfect opportunity. Wait till they're all gathered in one place, declare them a threat to national security, surrond them with troops, pull a cargo ship into the bay, load them up & ship them back to Africa since they identify with it so much (rather than the US). Problem solved. Make it well know & televised with the message that any other such demonstrations will be treated with the same method. The United States of America, you either love or you're going to leave it.

Indeed a settlement should be made and get this business settled once and for all. A figure should be derived that would make those demanding reperations and the taxpayer who would bear this burden agree. Write the check, have the recipients endorse it, then have them immediately repay for all the costs of welfare, food stamps, housing, and education costs provided them over the years. Include in amounts due repayment for riots and all destruction death and mayhem caused by blacks over the years. Include court costs and incarceration costs of blacks convicted for all crimes including murders, rapes, and robberies committed by blacks. Include checks to victims and their families of black riots, murders, rapes, and robberies over the centuries.

Yepper, it is time we settled up once and for all to see who owes who here.

Of course whites get welfare and commit crimes. Of course whites should pay their own way too. Of course whites should repay their victims and the families of the victims of their crimes. But millions of whites aren't rallying to extort yet even more money from the taxpayer...blacks are. I say we settle up and bring an end the welfare state.

According to Worrill, "The abolishment of slavery was really a constitutional scam and the 14th Amendment that allegedly made African people citizens of America was imposed on us. We were never asked if we wanted to be citizens."

Neither was I. Did they ask me if I wanted to be an American citizen when I was born in a Cleveland hospital? Noooo-oooo! But, at least I realize that if I really don't want to be an American citizen, the answer is for me to move out of the US, not make a foolish attempt to turn it into a justification for handouts.

This issue is going to be a thorn in the side of all Americans until the matter is somehow settled once and for all. The hustlers who are pursuing reparations have found too rich a gravy train to let it go now.

That having been said, there has to be some way to end it once and for all. I propose that a set value be put for each person, say the equivalent of "40 acres and a mule", or a flat sum of 50k (pick any number, it really doesn't matter).

This amount would be paid in proportion to one's ancestoral slavery heritage. For example, if a reparee (is that a word?) can prove that 100% of his ancestors were slaves, that person would be entitled to the entire amount. If one branch of the family tree can be traced to slavery, then 50% and so on.

That way, someone who's ancestors emigrated from the Belgian Congo during WW2 would be eliglble for nothing. Of course, after receiving your share, you would then have your citizenship revoked and, should you wish to remain in America, would be able to apply for a green card. Line forms to the right.....

Of course, this opens up a whole new can of worms, after all my wife's ancestors burnt a few witches back in New England, and I'm sure that the wikkens (sp?) will be asking for theirs in due course. Just a long as they don't turn me into a newt.

I have two African friends, one from Uganda, the other from Kenya. Both agree that African-American culture is an insult to Africans and any comparison between the two is disgraceful.

I wasn't born then, nor did my ancestors own slaves. I'm innocent of any crime.
Why punish those who committed no crime? None of us were here!
Innocent until proven quilty would be a good defence in court.
If by chance they do get reparations, we need to look at all the welfare paid out of our pockets and ask for our refund. They owe us!

If people are going to be paid for helping the country to become prosperous, everyone gets a check!

Can see this topic touches a nerve and it is yet another attempt by the true racists to attempt to divide this country and attempt to get freebees. As if the black population, honestly, hasn't met or even surpassed the KKK lynchings with crimes against whites anyway, if we're going to be honest and look at it as a color issue. And all that other garbage. Interesting blacks always try to shy away from the topic of the Civil War and all the whites dying for these radical black racists who try to keep division and hate alive. Where is the acknowledgement that the United States has done more than enough in sacrifice. There are so many reasons why reparations are insincere attempts at "justice", so much hypocrisy when it comes to the fact that slavery is not such an easy topic of discussion-it existed prior to the birth of America(the US is responsible for ninty yrs), when it comes to those who actually owned slaves(what is the amount of the early American population that actually owned slaves?), those blacks who were free prior to the Civil War, succeeding generations of Americans coming to America after the slavery issue, etc. etc. etc.
